In 2007, Mark Milley, then a mere colonel, was being interviewed about his experiences by Lynne Chandler Garcia. Now Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Milley is defending critical race theory while Garcia, an associate professor at the Air Force Academy, teaches it.
The woman described by one student as "the worst professor I've had" back when she was teaching logic for the philosophy department at a community college recently came forward with a Washington Post op-ed announcing her enthusiasm for injecting Marxism into the Air Force.
"I teach critical race theories to our nation’s future military leaders because it is vital that cadets understand the history of the racism that has shaped both foreign and domestic policy,” the historically illiterate logic teacher wrote.
Garcia, whose bio states that she holds “military secret clearance”, is promoting a Marxist ideology in her “Politics, American Government, and National Security" course. The curriculum lists her course, which implicitly attacks the existence of America, as a ”contributor to the development and assessment of the National Security of the American Republic”.
The Air Force Academy admitted that, “some elements from CRT canon are included in the course to encourage critical thinking" (another academic term for Marxism), but claimed that critical race theory is not "endorsed by the institution as institutional doctrine.”

The Marxist professors are in a position to help leftist students, and harm conservative students, by adjusting grades according to ideology.
In the next major war/confrontation the the DC deep state gets us into, the political promotion of woke generals and the divisiveness of their sexual and political ideology will show huge cracks.
My nephew was thinking of joining the Army - I told him in present climate, he should find another way to serve others.
I’ve met several USAFA civilian professors. They are extreme left-wing liberals. I can only imagine the liberal atmosphere at the academy.
First and 2nd year students should be allowed to leave the academies based on that alone. What are their options? Go on active duty as a reluctant enlisted man? There was one who played football for Stanford after 2 years at an academy. No obligation for the 2 years. How does it work? The “I didn’t sign up for this” won’t work for the cowards at the top. They have something on the young plebes and won’t hesitate to show off their power.

don’t worry, stalwart “conservatives” like Ross Douthat are busily coming up with ways for Conservative Inc. to surrender on CRT. You see, first, we have accept the idea of “systemic racism” and so on.
I’m of the opinion that Congress should shut all the service academies down. This is difficult for me to say, but there is nothing special about them anymore. You can get the same Leftist education at any civilian college so run them through ROTC or OTS and be done with it. Never saw a country so intent on committing suicide.

You can’t even trust people not to turn you in to the Authorities when the time is right for whatever “infraction” rules the day.

The images Spenser Rapone posted on Twitter from his May 2016 West Point graduation were meant to shock: in one, he opens his dress uniform to expose a T-shirt with a red image of the socialist icon Che Guevara. In another, he raises his fist and flips over his cap to reveal the hand-scrawled message: “Communism will win.”
The images, posted later in 2017, drew vitriol and even death threats. Now the second lieutenant who became known as the “commie cadet” is out of the army with an other-than-honorable discharge.
