Ok, let me ask you pro's: Even if the elevator trim is jammed nose down (FOR WHATEVER REASON!) in a commercial jet and cannot be neutralized ( FOR WHATEVER REASON) can human strength overcome that and pull the nose up anyway? (AP) -- Michael Brim, a former Virginia Union University standout cornerback who spent eight seasons in the NFL, died Tuesday in a shootout with another man. SACRAMENTO (AP) - Even as four western states agreed this week to help string electric transmission lines to power-starved Southern California from the coal fields of Wyoming, California energy regulators began Wednesday considering new ways to force the state's utilities to switch to cleaner energy. IT seems no one likes Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's budget proposal for the 2005-06 fiscal year, not even him. But it's a starting point for shaping what will hopefully be the budget that finally brings state spending in line with revenues. <p>The California Medical Association filed a lawsuit Friday to block a state budget cut that would reduce the amount doctors are paid to treat the poor.</p> <p>If the cut goes through, the doctors say the number of physicians who treat the state's 6.5 million Medi-Cal patients is likely to fall.
