The machine is an asus laptop with windows 7 home premium: The error message when you attempt to log on is: user profile service failed the log on user profile can not be loaded We are able to load in safe mode with networking. At first we thought changing the password would fix the issue but it didn't. We can use it normally except for this log on problem.

Currently I am running Internet Explorer Version 6.0 and sometimes when I access website, it briefly crashes. Some commercial sites I cannot see particular scripts that run in the front. Also, When I go to websites such as wwtdd.com I cannot see inline videos. All I see is the quicktime symbol with a big question mark. I believe I have the latest version of quicktime and the latest version of Flash 8.0. Any suggestions (other than get off the internet)?
