Federal prosecutors are expected to unseal new charges against a bomb-maker linked to the 1988 attack on Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, according to a report. Abu Agila Mohammad Masud, a top bomb-maker for the late Libyan dictator Moammar Khadafy, is accused of constructing the explosive that downed the airliner and killed 270 people on board, the Wall Street Journal said. Masud is being held by Libyan authorities.

On the heels of taking austerity measures to combat the financial impact of the coronavirus, Syracuse University will increase both the amount it charges students in tuition and the amount of financial aid it provides students next year. A federal district judge has allowed a male student’s defamation lawsuit against a female student who accused him of rape to survive a motion to dismiss. A Syracuse University cheerleader was arrested Thursday and charged with murdering the mother of his child. Chiarra Seals’ body was in the backyard of a home on Avondale Place, in near the university section of the city, early Thursday morning.
