For the past week, on occassion, the response time to pull up a page from Free Republic a DOS (Denial of Service)attack? Are other FR experiencing this slow down?? Characteristics 4-10 seconds to pull a new page. My normal page time under 1-2, my standard bear, yahoo less than one second. My cable company done several checks (pings) with modem and router resets to no avail. I sent an email last week to the system admin, and it cleaned up for several days but now very slow again. NEWSMEDIA criticizes FEMA every hour and politicians want Michael Brown to be fired. The slow response by FEMA and the fact that The Red Cross and The Salvation Army were ready to go should bother all of us. The other problem that FEMA's response teams must get STATE Homeland permission is also troubling.
