For the past week, on occassion, the response time to pull up a page from Free Republic a DOS (Denial of Service)attack?
Are other FR experiencing this slow down??
Characteristics
4-10 seconds to pull a new page. My normal page time under 1-2, my standard bear, yahoo less than one second. My cable company done several checks (pings) with modem and router resets to no avail.
I sent an email last week to the system admin, and it cleaned up for several days but now very slow again.
Do you suppose that the FR sever is gummedup and needs a reload??
Just ask'in If other freedom fighters having the same problem I am experience/
THANKS

Seems very slow to me but I'm behind a firewall so I never know the reason for slowdowns.

Slow for me all morning.
Yes, I have been noticing slowdowns on FR for 7-10 days now. Seems to be both day and evenings. I too thought it might be my internet connection. However, other sites seems fine.
You leave my matrix out of this!!!!!!
Yep, very slow. Other sites OK.

Yes, I am seeing some slowness, although this reply page popped right up!
I am experiencing the same thing. Very long page load times and I'm operating w/ T1. Even caused a double post for some reason.
Slow for me. Yup. Thought it was a local problem.
Yes...it's almost 10 seconds to pull up a page for me......
