    Baldwin said he pulled the hammer back and released it and the pistol fired without pulling the trigger. The pistol was a replica Pietta, but we don't know now if it had a transfer bar. Assume it doesn't. Has anyone here ever had that happen, or have known that it happened?

    PHOENIX - A Colt revolver that was popular in the West in the late19th Century would be designated as Arizona's official state firearm under a new bill introduced in the Legislature. The bill honoring the Colt single-action Army revolver was introduced Monday for consideration Tuesday by the Senate Appropriations Committee.

    Alright, I am going to set myself up here for flaming and such - especially by certain @$$wipes who enjoy making themselves feel superior - by I have a couple questions concerning firearms. Basic question one - what is the difference between a pistol and a revolver? Basic question two - what is the difference between single action and double action? Basic question three - which should a beginner go with - revolver, pistol, SA, or DA?

    Some of you may be thinking Ruger doesn't make a 5.5" Stainless Bisley, who put that one together? Well, Ruger did. They have made a limited run in this configuration, I'm told only 250 have been made so if you like it and see one at your local gun shop you may want to snap it up. Since receiving this revolver I've been informed that Ruger is making additional runs of this configuration in 44 and possibly 41 Magnum. It seems people either love or hate the Bisley grip style. Some love it at first sight, others are like me...
