Jurors in Downtown L.A. heard opening statements Wednesday in the corruption trial of former Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca. Federal prosecutor Brandon Fox began by telling jurors Baca abused his power and tried to sweep misconduct under the rug while serving as Sheriff.
