I think Selleck played volleyball at USC. He was an athlete. And a talented actor as well obviously. He was Jaclyn Smith's love interest on a Charlies Angels episode. Doesn't get any better than that.

Forty-five guys dressed up as “Magnum P.I.” during a bachelor party Saturday night and went to the Detroit Tigers game against the Chicago White Sox at Comerica Park. They wore Hawaiian shirts, Tigers caps and pressed-on mustaches. They even carried around a life-size cutout of Tom Selleck as Thomas Magnum, the lead character from his popular ’80s private-detective drama. Amazingly we haven’t even gotten to the oddest part of the story yet. The 45 Magnums were ejected from the game by stadium security, as the groom’s younger brother told the Detroit-adjacent News-Herald, because one of them was smoking and they...

WESTLAKE VILLAGE — Water from a public hydrant that Tom Selleck has been accused of stealing from in dry California was legally purchased, an official said. The Calleguas Municipal Water District in Ventura County sued the "Magnum, P.I." star, alleging that a tanker truck filled up at the hydrant and took it to Selleck's 60-acre ranch more than a dozen times in the past two years. The district announced a tentative settlement with Selleck on Thursday. Jay Spurgin, public works director for Thousand Oaks, said a construction company paid a fee to secure the rights to draw water from the...

TOM Selleck has quite the temper! The actor apparently flew off the handle when an extra on the set of his TV show Blue Bloods picked up a real gun and started pointing it at people! The extra — who was playing a cop but had never held a real gun — was horrified when Tom, a lifelong gun enthusiast and board member of the National Rifle Association, spotted him and yelled, “Hey, YOU! What the HELL are you doing? That gun’s NOT a toy — stop waving it around!” “Look at you…your finger’s STILL ON THE TRIGGER!” According to...

Transcript of Tom Selleck & Rosie O'Donnell's NRA Discussiontranscribed by Otherone . -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rosie: We're here with Tom Selleck who's a member of the NRA. Three months ago you joined the NRA. Tom: I did. I actually joined to do an ad. Because, I've done a lot of consensus work for like the last 7 to 8 years and what disturbs me and I think disturbs a lot of Americans is the whole idea of politics now-a-days which seems to be, 'if you disagree with me, you must be evil' as opposed to 'if you disagree with me, you must...
