Leaders in Longmont Try to Explain What Happened LONGMONT -- Officials in the city of Longmont are trying to explain how an illegal immigrant got master keys to some of the city’s secure buildings, including the police department building. The Longmont Daily Times-Call reports that police arrested the man earlier this week outside of a building. Investigators say he lied to them about his identity. But officers said they recognized him, because they say he was part of the crew that had just cleaned the police department building.
