Two young teenage girls have been charged with felony murder after killing a man in DC during an armed carjacking. Instead of fleeing the scene after the car crashed and rolled on its side, one of the girls began looking for her cellphone that was in the vehicle — while walking nonchalantly past their victim’s body. The girls, both black, are only 13 and 15 years old. Their Pakistani victim, Mohammad Anwar, 66, of Springfield, Virginia, was driving for Uber Eats when the girls attempted to steal his car and tased him.

A gunman opened fire at a Boulder, Colorado, supermarket on Monday afternoon, killing 10 people, including a “heroic” police officer who was one of the first cops to respond to the mass killing, law enforcement officials said.

Local reports say that six people are believed to have been killed by a shooter at a Colorado grocery store as video captured multiple people lying wounded inside and outside the supermarket. A fight that erupted over snow shoveling allegedly led to a Pennsylvania man shooting two of his neighbors to death, authorities said. A man suspected in a downtown beating that left a man bloody and unconscious in the street after he crashed a truck during a confrontation that unfolded near a downtown Portland demonstration is now in custody. Marquise Love, 25, turned himself in and was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on Friday morning, according to Portland police. He’s accused of felony assault, coercion and rioting and is being held on $260,000 bail.

Two men arrested in connection with an alleged attack on "Empire" star Jussie Smollett have been released without being charged due to new evidence from interrogations on Friday, Chicago police said. "Due to new evidence as a result of today's interrogations, the individuals questioned by police in the Empire case have now been released without charging and detectives have additional investigative work to complete," police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said in a statement.
