The Supreme Court justice said it was time to address “the elephant in the room": the “threats and harassment” that judges have received from Trump and his allies. RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico — Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson forcefully condemned attacks by President Donald Trump and his allies on judges who have blocked Trump administration policies, warning Thursday that the increasingly hostile rhetoric poses a dire threat to the country’s political fabric. “The attacks are not random. They seem designed to intimidate those of us who serve in this critical capacity,” Jackson told a judges’ conference in Puerto Rico. “The threats...

The FBI's arrest of a Wisconsin judge shocked the establishment. But it's exactly the kind of escalation the MAGA base has been agitating for. "This is not the time for summer soldiers or sunshine patriots," MAGA podcaster Jack Posobiec told Axios, invoking founding father Thomas Paine. Why it matters: Friday's arrest of Milwaukee County judge Hannah Dugan, on charges of obstructing an immigration arrest, is a stunning escalation of President Trump's battles with political opponents.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Tuesday credited a lack of Congressional funding for immigration enforcement and “rogue district court judges” for the Trump Administration’s inability to follow through on mass deportations. As of April 1, 2025, over 100,000 individuals had been deported since January 20, 2025. But this is far slower than the rate necessary to deport the tens of millions of illegals in our country right now. To deport the more than 20 million illegal aliens that Leavitt says entered the U.S. in the last four years, the Trump Administration would need to execute upwards of ten...

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump Unlawful Nationwide Injunctions by Radical Left Judges could very well lead to the destruction of our Country! These people are Lunatics, who do not care, even a little bit, about the repercussions from their very dangerous and incorrect Decisions and Rulings. Lawyers endlessly search the United States for these Judges, and file lawsuits as quickly as they find them. It is then the obligation of Law abiding Agencies of Government to have these “Orders” overturned. The danger is unparalleled! These Judges want to assume the Powers of the Presidency, without having to attain 80 Million Votes....

The far-left judicial insurrectionists and institutions have already filed 129 legal challenges against President Trump less than two months into his second term. This is more than twice as many legal challenges that he went through during his first full term. It is obvious that this is a coordinated attack by the far-left to destroy Trump’s all-star administration and the nation. And, Chief Justice Roberts is lecturing President Trump?

On Tuesday Chief Justice Roberts ordered fired Biden holdover Hampton Dellinger to respond to the Trump Administration’s application to the Supreme Court. Hampton Dellinger must respond by Wednesday. President Trump on Sunday filed an emergency appeal with the US Supreme Court after corrupt Obama judge Amy Berman Jackson reinstated Hampton Dellinger as head of the Office of Special Counsel. President Trump fired Hampton Dellinger, Special Counsel of the Office of Special Counsel (not to be confused with a special counsel hired as a federal prosecutor) a couple of weeks ago. Trump appointed Veterans Affairs Secretary Doug Collins to take over...

A federal appeals court overrode a three-judge panel decision Wednesday, restoring an injunction blocking President Joe Biden’s “sanctuary country” orders as legal challenges continue. These “sanctuary country” orders are directions by top officials in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). They require immigration agents to delay the deportation of illegal aliens until they have been convicted of aggravated felonies. In August, Judge Drew Tipton of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas issued a preliminary injunction blocking the sanctuary country orders following a lawsuit from the states of Texas and Louisiana. However, a three-judge...

A three-judge panel on Wednesday halted a Texas judge’s order that blocked President Joe Biden’s so-called “sanctuary country” orders that have forced the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to release criminal illegal aliens back into the United States. On Wednesday, two judges appointed by former President Barack Obama and a judge appointed by former President George W. Bush put the brakes on Judge Drew Tipton’s order last month that struck down Biden’s orders that prevent ICE from arresting and detaining most criminal illegal aliens. Judge Gregg Costa writes that the panel’s “main concern” with Tipton’s injunction “is that we believe...

A three-judge panel on Wednesday halted a Texas judge’s order that blocked President Joe Biden’s so-called “sanctuary country” orders that have forced the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to release criminal illegal aliens back into the United States. ..... Snip..... With the court’s decision, DHS no longer has to abide by Tipton’s reporting requirements. The decision also means DHS can continue imposing its “sanctuary country” orders as the case makes its way through the courts. In February, the orders instructed ICE agents not to arrest and deport illegal aliens who had not been identified as terrorists, gang members, or were...

Texas v. Biden, a case with profound implications for American foreign policy, reached the Supreme Court with lightning speed. On August 13, a judge in Texas appointed by then-President Donald Trump effectively ordered the Biden administration to permanently reinstate Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy. That policy, which is officially known as the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP), requires many immigrants who seek asylum in the United States to stay in Mexico while they await a hearing. Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk’s opinion in Texas was wrong for many reasons, including that he completely misread federal immigration law. Kacsmaryk wrote that a 1996 federal...

SEATTLE - A federal judge says police in Tukwila acted unconstitutionally when they arrested an illegal immigrant and turned him over to immigration authorities for deportation. Wilson Rodriguez Macareno, who is originally from Honduras, called police early last year about someone trespassing in his yard. The officers instead arrested him based on indications he was in the country illegally and brought him to a detention center for deportation. U.S. District Judge Richard Jones ruled Wednesday that the local police did not have the authority to arrest him for a civil, federal violation. He said a trial will be held to...

SAN DIEGO (AP) — The Latest on a court ruling that would have prevented the Trump administration from returning asylum seekers to Mexico to await court hearings (all times local): 4:45 p.m. A federal appeals court has temporarily blocked a judge’s order that would have stopped the Trump administration from returning asylum seekers to Mexico. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals issued a temporary stay Friday. A three-judge panel set a Tuesday deadline for civil liberties groups to submit arguments why the order blocking the Trump administration should take effect. It set a Wednesday deadline for the government to...

New York (AP) -- A judge has ordered New York's governor, Senate and Assembly to raise the pay of the state's judges within the next 90 days. State Supreme Court Justice Edward Lehner in Manhattan said Wednesday that the defendants unconstitutionally abused their power by depriving judges of a pay hike for almost 10 years. He said state legislators illegally linked a judicial salary increase to one for themselves. Lehner, who acknowledged he would be affected by his own decision, ordered the state to raise judicial pay to reflect cost of living increases since 1998.

DES MOINES, Iowa - Same-sex marriage was legal here for less than 24 hours before the county won a stay of a judge's order on Friday, a tiny window of opportunity that allowed two men to make history but left dozens of other couples disappointed after a frantic rush to the altar. At 2 p.m. Thursday, Judge Robert Hanson ordered Polk County officials to accept marriage license requests from same-sex couples, but he granted the stay at about 12:30 p.m. Friday. By then 27 same-sex couples had filed applications, but only Sean Fritz and Tim McQuillan of Ames had made...

In the spirit of beating a dead horse—or at least removing its feeding tube—liberals have unleashed an all out assault on a Republican from Texas. I know, what else is new? But what if I told you this Texan’s name was not George W. Bush? Impossible, you say? Understand that for liberals to hate another Republican anywhere near as much as they despise President Bush, it could only mean two things: 1) That Republican is a conservative who is either attempting to cut taxes, punish judges for overstepping their boundaries, or threatening Roe V. Wade in some way. 2) That...

JUDGE HALTS VOTE ON SAME-SEX MARRIAGEAmendment may be taken off Sept. 18 ballot; state appeals A New Orleans judge halted a planned Sept. 18 vote on a proposed constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriages in Louisiana, but temporarily suspended enforcement of his order to let the state file an appeal with the state Supreme Court. Civil District Judge Chris Bruno ruled Friday that the amendment would be kept off the Sept. 18 primary ballot because elections are not being held in all parishes. Bruno's ruling was a clear victory, however slight, for opponents of the proposed amendment who had taken...
