A Russian cargo carrier has proven once and for all that pigs do fly. More than 3,000 happy hogs have earned their wings, traveling a mile high between Europe and China onboard a Boeing 747 operated by Volga Dnepr. A pig-culiar problem The Chinese are lacking in pigs. You could say they’re squealing out for swine after an outbreak of African swine fever obliterated the nation’s herds of hogs. First detected in August 2018, the deadly disease has decimated the pig population by around 50%. China loves pigs, but not for their superior land clearing abilities or cute curly tails....

Mutant ...one of the giant pigs greedily gobbles up his massive dinner at a farm in Cambodia ______________________________________________________________ Scientists in South Korea have been credited with originally genetically-engineering double-muscle hogs to avert a future pork shortage crisis. Full Title: O'Keefe Catches Antifa 'Fight Instructors' Teaching Activists How To Inflict Pain on Their Targets A new undercover video from James O'Keefe's Project Veritas features Antifa “fight instructors” teaching activists how to incapacitate political enemies by violently attacking them. "If you get a good liver or kidney shot, it's pretty much crippling them," the Antifa instructor said. "They're going to be pretty much doubled over and in a lot of pain." The instructor also recommended breaking one of the floating ribs to cause maximum pain in a victim. "It's hard to move after that -- to catch a breath,"...

. . . The typical scene of the conventional method which attaches a plate to the outer surface of a broken rib, has the patient on his side, a slab of flesh from waist to armpit folded back to reveal the pale ribs and the red intercostal muscles . . . The surgery is so hard on patients that it is only used in cases with multiple breaks especially of adjacent ribs. Such a cluster of broken ribs causes"Flail chest," a condition where that section of the rib cage moves opposite the way it's supposed to move, interfering with...

I came across Dr. Maurice Codd’s rib recipe and tried it. Codd was a nobel prize winner in chemistry so I would imagine he understands the chemistry of this better than I do. But the ribs are amazing. Enjoy! I am quite certain that after a long development process I have finally reached the perfection point in pork rib bbq. For years I hated rib recipes that slather ribs with gooey sweet sauce, and I preferred the dry rub ribs. Now, after countless hours in the “lab” I have captured both the crunch and tang of the dry rib, and...

The search for the best combination of: method, rub, glazing sauce, and mop sauce used to achieve baby back perfection has been an arduous but enjoyable task. I think I may have found it this past Labor Day weekend with a new twist on a tried and true formula. Over the years I have used many methods: grilling, smoke boxes, barrel smokers, mesquite charcoal, briquettes with wood chips and pellet smokers. I have used rubs of all types as well as sauces ranging from store bought to home-made, from simple to complex. I thought I had found the right combination...

He’s being hailed as a true American hero. Fresno resident Robert Wright was up cooking ribs at 3 a.m. Tuesday, when he saw that his neighbor’s apartment was on fire. Even though his ribs meant a lot to him, Wright had the presence of mind to go check up on his family. “The fire was bursting out of the window … It was crazy man, really crazy,” Wright told KMPH Fox26 News in an on-air interview that is now going viral. "I got my kids first and I thought about my ribs, like I don't want to let my ribs...

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe has been hospitalized following a horse-riding accident over the Christmas holidays in Africa that left him with seven broken ribs and fluid around his lungs, a spokesman said Monday. Spokesman Brian Coy said doctors had expected the weeks-old injury to heal on its own, but after identifying increased fluid around the governor’s lungs, they admitted him around noon Monday for a procedure. McAuliffe (D), who attended a Martin Luther King Jr. event in Norfolk on Monday morning and was interviewed by local media there, was admitted hours later to Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond....

Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid (Nev.) on Wednesday fired back at Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-Ky.) characterization of the chamber as dysfunctional during eight years of Democratic control. McConnell, speaking on the Senate floor this week, has repeatedly characterized the upper chamber as a body paralyzed by Reid’s iron grip on the agenda. The new Republican majority leader pledged Wednesday to “restore the Senate” by returning to regular order and getting committees working again. Reid said McConnell’s narrative is off-base. “The new majority leader claims the Senate has not achieved, in his words, ‘squat,’ in recent years. The numbers in...
