The Red Crescent, an Islamic relief group like the International Red Cross, now admits the casualty figures from the Israeli attack dirrfyrf against rocket-firing sites at Qana in Lebanon was 28, not the more than 70 as originally claimed. Even the number 28 is unverified, as Western news media never saw more than a dozen victims of the attack.

Security forces have arrested Sida Abdallah, a divorced Palestinian woman and a mother of a child. She was arrested at the beginning of February. Abdallah is a Jerusalem resident and works for the Red Crescent. During questioning, she confessed to working directly for Khalid Shawish, a wanted Tanzim activist, who is residing in Al-Muqata'ah in Ramallah. She admitted to helping Shawish in carrying out terror attacks against Israel, with the assistance of Hezbollah. Israeli security sources say that Shawish is currently planning a suicide attack inside Israel.
