Sixty years ago, Ford unveiled the Mustang – and it changed everything. Prior to 1964 – the year of the first Mustang’s debut – there was no such thing as a “pony car.” Soon, there were so many of them it was hard to keep track of them. One of them was the Chevy Camaro, which appeared just in time for the 1967 model year. Its time has just run out because GM has pulled the plug – because GM knows a Camaro with a plug is as oxymoronic as Elvis without the voice (and the presence). In a backhanded...

The Formula One racing franchise has filed for trademarks indicating it could be seeking a race in Chicago, less than a year after NASCAR held its first street race in Grant Park. F1 applied for variations of the trademark “Formula 1 Chicago Grand Prix” and “Grand Prix Chicago” on Jan. 19, according to U.S. patent office records. Filing trademarks could be a protective measure. But it could also show the franchise is considering a Chicago race. There is some indication the city has held initial talks with F1 about a possible Chicago race, downtown Ald. Brian Hopkins (2nd) says. “I’m...

Formula 1 fans watching the Las Vegas Grand Prix tore down controversial track view-blocking screens along the public areas of the city’s famous Strip during the returning race, Motorsport.com has learned. The race had already courted some controversy in the weeks leading up to this weekend on this element when view-blocking filters were applied to areas of pedestrian bridges running over the Strip that prevented people without tickets from seeing the track. When attempts were made to remove this by local residents, it was replaced in the relevant areas and had cage-like structures added that also covered the bridges' upper...

I have seen a huge rising of so called veterans support groups, from service dogs to PTSD groups. What can we trust on the interwbs to be actually sincere or just a hoax to gain money and change the business name after honest people have given funds too? In August I am planning my final professional race, but I want 100% of any winnings or sponsorship money to go to true veteran charaties where help is needed not tied up. Is Mission 22 or Veteran service dogs a proper place to donate to?

NASCAR has officially rejected Brandon Brown’s “Let’s Go Brandon” sponsorship deal. According to multiple news reports, the auto-racing giant told Mr. Brown’s team that cryptocurrency firm LGBCoin cannot sponsor his car. Mr. Brown’s team publicly trumpeted on Thursday the news that LGBcoin - the self-styled “America’s Coin” - will be its full-season primary partner for the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series. The company released a photo of Mr. Brown standing next to his #68 Chevrolet Camaro in a red-white-and-blue...

Business is booming for a Let’s Go Brandon store chain selling anti-President Biden merchandise across New England. Owner Keith Lambert told FOX Business he plans to expand his business into Salisbury and Cape Cod, Massachusetts – increasing his locations from eight to 10 to keep up with the demand during the Biden presidency. “A customer came into one of our locations [Tuesday] and bought a Let’s Go Brandon sticker and went out to his car and stuck it over his Biden sticker,” Lambert said. “And that was it, he was just like, ‘I’m done with this guy.’” “People have buyer’s...

NASCAR driver Brandon Brown says affiliation with the "Let's go Brandon" chant is costing him marketing opportunities. Brandon Brown, the NASCAR driver who unintentionally sparked the “Let’s go Brandon” phenomenon, says he is having sponsorship struggles as a result of the chant. In October, Brown was being interviewed by Kelli Stavast on NBC after he won a race at Talladega. The crowd was chanting “F–k Joe Biden,” and Stavast talked about how they were chanting “Let’s go Brandon!” The phrase quickly became a rallying cry among conservatives who believe President Biden gets treated with kid gloves by the media, and...
