A now-arrested Arizona man was plotting a racially motivated mass shooting in Georgia to incite a race war ahead of the upcoming election, the federal authorities say. The Department of Justice says 58-year-old Mark Prieto was planning a mass shooting and wanted to recruit others with racist beliefs. Court records allege Prieto revealed his plan to FBI informants, which involved shooting up a rap concert in Atlanta, Georgia because he believed there would be more Black people there. Prieto wanted to carry out his plan sometime before the election. He's charged with firearms trafficking for use in a hate crime,...

The only thing the SBC’s North American Mission Board likes more than not being financially transparent is flouting their gaudy expenses in the face of sacrificially-giving pew-sitters, perfectly exemplified by NAMB’S 2024 annual meeting exhibit, which featured a race car wrapped in their logo and colors. Because the institutions react to Form 990s* as vampires react to sunlight, we’ll never know if they spent thousands, tens of thousands, or even more on it. What we do know, however, is that whatever money was spent is a slap in the face to all the little church ladies giving to the Annie...

A Satan-worshipping cult of pedophiles is blackmailing girls into cutting themselves — but the FBI didn’t seem interested in that so much as the fact that one of its members once used the n-word, a Daily Wire investigation found. For years, the group known both as 764 and Harm Nation has tortured what is believed to be hundreds or thousands of girls. But the FBI didn’t put its cybercrimes or violence-against-children investigators on it. Instead, its interest appears to have piqued mainly by the fact that the group — most of whose victims are white teens — was once racist...

There was a scary moment on Friday night at Bristol Motor Speedway as Dale Earnhardt Jr. was forced to end the race early. Jr.'s car caught fire during the Food City 300 on Friday with 29 laps to go, and he had to be helped out of his vehicle. The fire also caught his uniform, giving himself quite the burn. "I saw some smoke in the car, and I smelt it. I was like ‘Hopefully, that’s not me.' That last lap, I saw a big fireball down in the tunnel in the car, and I felt it, obviously. My uniform...

In response to withering criticism over his questionable handling of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the World Health Organization (WHO) head lashed out at Taiwan for "racist attacks" and accused Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of being complicit. During a press conference on Wednesday (April 8), a reporter asked WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom whether it was more difficult to operate during the pandemic with his moral authority eroded by criticism from world leaders such as President Donald Trump. Tedros responded by claiming that he had been assailed by racist attacks and death threats over the past three months. He...

HEREFORD — As a 10-year-old, Anika “Roco” O’Brien claimed the 2016 Bandolero division “Rookie of the Year” track title at Tucson Speedway. Now, one year later, she is the new Bandolero division champion. “In 2017 I won the division championship by one point,” O’Brien said Thursday while sitting in her Briggs and Stratton lime green race car at her family’s home in Hereford. “And my dad (Brian O’Brien) won the Pro Stock championship this year, for the second year in a row. Stock car racing is a family sport for us.” Anika and her father both race as car No....

I drove race cars for three years. I know race cars and race car drivers. It's time to lay off Tony Stewart. Don't get me wrong. Whatever should be said about him as a human being, Stewart is a phenomenally talented race car driver, likely one of the all-time greats of motorsports. By comparison, my racing was infinitely more humble, including three years of competition in the Sports Car Club of America and the International Motorsports Association — i.e. club and semi-pro — levels. I raced on asphalt road courses like Watkins Glen and Summit Point with left and right...

LONDON – Scientists unveiled on Tuesday what they hope will be one of the world's fastest biofuel vehicles, powered by waste from chocolate factories and made partly from plant fibers. Its makers hope the racer will go 145 mph and give manufacturers ideas about how to build more ecologically friendly vehicles. The car runs on vegetable oils and chocolate waste that has been turned into biofuel. The steering wheel is made out of plant-based fibers derived from carrots and other root vegetables, and the seat is built of flax fibre and soybean oil foam. The body is also made of...

Now you have probably gathered I am not into the whole "green" movement. But, in light of earth day, I thought this was worth sharing. With a vehicle body made from potatoes, a steering wheel made from carrots, the ability to run on waste chocolate and vegetable oil, the 140 mph Environ-MENTAL is the first formula 3 race car designed from materials that are both sustainable and renewable. Jason and engineers spent three years testing the device, working and reworking the design, and interviewing deaf people for ideas. When the prototype was done, Jason needed some people to test it. He contacted Mike McConnell, perhaps the nation’s best known deaf blogger. Mike said he knew the perfect guy. He wrote: “Do you know about Greg Gunderson, who is trying to become the first deaf NASCAR driver?” --- When Greg clicked on the “Driver Wanted” message, he was taken to a Web site for an upcoming reality TV show. The show would be called “Racin’ for a Livin,’ ”...
