Interesting Trafalgar results. It's a well known phenomenon that election polls are more accurate if they ask participants how others will vote: Much more predictive than asking who are you going to vote for. This way it includes all kinds of people who are not participating in polls and avoids people hesitating to tell the truth about who they plan to vote for. So Trafalgar always asks this question. Most recent results (October 31, 2022) were published. "Who do you think your neighbors and friends will vote for in the 2022 midterm elections?" Republicans -- 60.6% Democrats -- 35.7% Third...

True competition for African American votes may take many years to accomplish, but those important first steps may be starting right now The liberal mainstream news media have a narrative about Donald Trump and they do not deviate. The constant refrain is that the President is unhinged, idiotic, tyrannical and especially racist. Recently, the President was labeled a racist when he criticized CNN’s Don Lemon and NBA star LeBron James. Their latest obsession is the new book written by fired White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman.

The news of CNN’s hiding the results of its own poll on the public’s feelings about Obamacare wasn’t surprising. As a general rule poll results showing bad news for Democrats are smothered until they can no longer be suppressed or become irrelevant. After sitting on it for weeks CNN finally released the results of its survey on Obamacare. What they were holding back was a finding of 56/ 43 opposition to the bill. The bias of CNN is clearly visible because it released some of the results, but held back this Obamacare bad news. Other questions The one poll question...

Putting a Poll in the Field By Norma Zager When I awoke this morning, I wasn’t certain if I wanted to jump out of bed and begin the day or curl myself back into a groggy bundle beneath the quilt. After a moment or two deciding my best course of action, I put a poll in the field. It was decided 54 to 46 percent with a margin of error 2 or 3% I should get my lazy butt out of bed and get to work. When I received my credit card statement I noticed the bank had raised my...

Republican Sen. George Allen is slightly ahead of Democratic challenger Jim Webb in a close Virginia race that could determine whether the GOP retains control of the U.S. Senate. Two percent supported independent Gail Parker and 8 percent were undecided. Just when you thought the 2004 presidential election was over, just when you thought it was time to move on towards other news stories, just when you thought the left was finally through with their whining and carping, just when you thought all that was done, here comes Je$$e Jackson. Yes, yes, my friends the supreme race-pimp himself, Je$$e Jackson, has found another way to get free airtime and free publicity. I guess he could not stand not having cameras on him for too long, because he is in Ohio stirring up tensions and dividing people, which is, of course,...

Last night I was informed that our poll was attacked by terrorist. Not the kind of terrorist you hear about everyday but the kind at Free Republic.com. Freeping is a way of manipulating a poll to reflect an outcome which is not neccesarily the opinion of our visitors. The polling system was ... damaged and before I remove it I want everyone to see what happened. Free Republic at this time has LRP World News Listed at the top of one of their web pages for a need of major freeping. In fact a quick search on google will show...
