The Pittsburgh Steelers’ Troy Polamalu, suffered a knee injury in last night’s victory game against the Tennessee Titans. And according to nfl.fanhouse.com, it is uncertain at the time, how serious the injury is, although Troy will undergo more tests today. Troy was not seen in the locker room after the game, as he was getting treatment on a sprained MCL in his left knee instead. Polamalu was apparently injured late in the first half, when a player landed on his left leg, in a pile up for a loose ball.

Polamalu: Real-Deal Christian ItÂ’s rare to find a sports star who is both at the absolute top of his sport and who is deeply committed to his Christian faith. HereÂ’s one: Troy Polamalu, the all-pro strong safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yesterday, PolamaluÂ’s spectacular 40-yard interception return for a touchdown served as the exclamation point in the SteelersÂ’ 23-14 win over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC championship game in Pittsburgh. The win vaulted the Steelers into the Feb. 1 Super Bowl against the NFC champion Arizona Cardinals. That kind of game-breaking play is something that Steelers fans have come...

He's hair, he's there. He's everywhere QB's don't expect him. He's Steelers safety Troy Polamalu. Detroit — The “Flowin’ Samoan” has about as much chance of being overlooked in the Pittsburgh secondary during Super Bowl XL as Fabio would at boot camp. Troy Polamalu’s only advantage in the art of clandestine operations is his height, and maybe his library voice. He’s generously listed at 5-10, which must include his braids sticking straight up in fright mode. “I can eat peanuts off his head,” said Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau, himself a great defensive back who didn’t exactly tower over receivers...

One night after his notorious reversal of an onfield interception threw NFL referee Pete Morelli into a national storm - and nearly sent Denver packing for Indianapolis - Morelli found himself between a hard place and a rock. A vandal hurled a grapefruit-sized boulder through a plate-glass window in Morelli's Stockton, Calif., home at about 10 p.m. Monday, according to Stockton Police Lt. Thomas Wells. Morelli, who also works as a high school principal, was home with his wife at the time. "They were in bed or going to bed when he heard the window break and Mr. Morelli came...

This is going to be less than pretty, but someone had to do it.Yesterday's Steeler/Indy game was .............. well, you fill that in.I'm a Steeler fan of 55 years or so, and the game yesterday was, to say the least, quite bizarre --- as the concept of "a football move" brought back visions of Elroy 'Crazy Legs' Hirsh. The LIVE THREAD yesterday including this incredible game was as lively as the game itself. This morning I gathered some of your comments on the Troy Polamalu interception. Let's be honest............. he caught the damn ball and the refs blew the call....
