<p>About 30 Occupy Wall Street protesters have interrupted a foreign policy speech by Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann in South Carolina. Bachmann was delivering the speech Thursday on the deck of the mothballed aircraft carrier USS Yorktown near Charleston when the protesters stood up and began shouting, "Mike check!"</p>

Occupy Oakland has placed a large donation they received into an account at Wells Fargo. The group is an off-shoot of the Occupy Wall Street demonstration taking place in the financial district of New York City, known for their anti-corporate greed stance and “we are the 99%” statements, which refers to the growing difference in who the wealthy are. A government regulator said in court Wednesday that roughly $600 million is missing from the books of bankrupt brokerage MF Global. Occupy Wall Street got some more star power on Friday as music legends Pete Seeger and Arlo Guthrie joined the demonstrators in their march to the upper West Side. Using a walker and wearing a red-knit cap, the 92-year-old Seeger marched from Symphony Space to Columbus Circle.
