Perry is down with the OWS folks?

The bossman Uncle Rush has been down at Occupy Wall Street everyday supporting the peaceful protests.
Since the protests started over a month ago, a slew of celebs have been seen supporting the movement including Gossip Girls' Penn Badgley, actress Susan Sarandon and rapper Kanye West, just to name a few.
Uncle Rush tweeted:
"Look who's @ the protest. @katyperry and her husband what's his name. :-) send him a hey russell"
It looks like Russell Brand and Katy Perry are down there right now. Known for lending their name to causes they believe in, Katy and Russell have decided to lend their support to the current protests.
How do you feel about celebrities joining in on the protests?

Katy Perry, the girl who sings like she got Downs syndrome “ Doo are da dire werk oh oh oh” Yeah, that’s brilliant honey.
All of what you say probably would happen if these dimwits actually achieved their stated goals — the Thermidor, when the revolution eats its own.
Meanwhile, I wanna know when these celebrity activists are going to start giving up all their worldly possessions to the needy just to show how much they support redistribution. Yeah, like that’s gonna happen.
The 99% can’t explain where the rest of us are.
50 whole people showed up to occupy Jackson Michigan. My question in the comment section of the paper was “If that’s 99%, where are the other 150,000 people who live in the county?”
Multi-millionaires that are there just to make sure these morons keep buying their CDs and going to see their movies by acting if they are really part of their little communist ghetto commune.
Once they make their appearance and get some camera time, they will jet off back to their million dollar estate and enjoy their rich person toys.
And those so-called “anti-capitalist” fools will gladly buy their stuff.

Katy Perry is pop singer. Who actually has some talent. She is married to Russell Brand (British? leftist atheist) actor who played the lead role in a very bad remake of the delightful 80’s comedy, “Arthur”. He also made an a** of himself during the MTV 80 Awards presentation mocking the Christian sensibilities of another pop group, the Jonas Brothers.

I’ll add that it will be Chip and Muffy hanging on lampposts in addition to the glitterati. That’s the way it was under Mao, after the Russian Revolution, and after the French Revolution. It is the direction that all revolutions have gone, save one, and maybe some in Eastern Europe after the Soviets were kicked out (I would add that some of those Eastern European countries looked to our Founding Fathers as a reference point).
Sandra Bullock gave $1mill to the Red Cross after 911. That’s a celebrity I respect. Very easy on the eyes too.

I haven’t heard any of these celebrities camping the night with the OWS crowd. I guess their support goes only so far. Like until the sun goes down, or until it gets cold outside...or they have to go to the bathroom.
