The National Rifle Association's PAC is backing Republican Nan Hayworth in NY-19 against incumbent Democratic Rep. John Hall, another outside source that could prove helpful in a heated contest. Nan Hayworth's bid to unseat Rep. John Hall in November got a boost Wednesday when a state judge dismissed an attempt by Hall's campaign to knock his Republican challenger off the Independence Party ballot line. The ruling allows Hayworth to run on a coveted line that could prove critical in a close race.
