Officers from the force that failed Henry Nowak have now admitted they felt “controlled and pressured to feel certain ways” after mandatory DEI sessions that hammered home ‘white privileged’ and unconscious bias. The trainer outsourced to deliver the course was described as “deeply hateful of white people and British culture.” Serving and former Hampshire officers told former Home Secretary Suella Braverman they were furious but stayed silent out of fear for their careers. Multiple officers from Hampshire Constabulary have now gone on record about the ideological pressure inside the force. They described how DEI modules on white privilege, unconscious bias,...

Keir Starmer condemned Nigel Farage for his comments calling for “pure, cold rage” in the wake of Henry Nowak’s murder. On Tuesday morning, the Reform UK leader claimed Nowak’s death was evidence of a “two-tier culture” in Britain where white people’s rights “matter less than those of ethnic minorities.” He went on to call on people to respond to the incident with “pure, cold rage.” By Tuesday evening, there were violent protests in Southampton over the police’s actions in Nowak’s death. In his opening remarks addressing the demonstration in Southampton, Starmer said now was a time for “serious work, not...

He said: 'The biggest lie, ladies and gentlemen, is why he drew his knife. He told you from that witness box, Henry Nowak said he was going to kill me. He was going to f*** me up. I'll bet you know the name George Floyd. He couldn't breathe. I'll bet you don't know the name Henry Nowak. He couldn't breathe either. Henry Nowak was an 18-year-old first-year university student at the University of Southampton (studying Accountancy and Finance), originally from Chafford Hundred, Essex. He was fatally stabbed on December 3, 2025, while walking home from a night out with friends in the Portswood area of Southampton, England. What happened to Henry was no less tragic or horrible. Henry was the victim of a stabbing attack by a crazed Sikh, but after being stabbed, Henry was put in...

Lisa Nowak, a former NASA astronaut whose 2007 arrest made national news, has officially retired from the U.S. Navy with an "other than honorable" discharge, officials said Thursday. In a statement, Assistant Secretary of Navy Juan Garcia said that Nowak "demonstrated a complete disregard for the well-being" of romantic rival Air Force Capt. Colleen Shipman. Authorities said Nowak drove nonstop from Texas to Orlando, confronting Shipman, then the girlfriend of Nowak's former lover, at Orlando International Airport on Feb. 5, 2007.

Considering objections from Lisa Nowak's victim, an Orlando judge Monday denied the former astronaut's request to terminate her probation for attacking a fellow military officer over a mutual love interest. According to documents from the Ninth Circuit Court, Nowak was eligible for termination once she reached the halfway mark of her one-year probation period. But the judge instead loosened her sentence to administrative probation, which does not require the Navy captain to report to a probation officer. Florida law says administrative probation is reserved for a defendant who "represents a low risk of harm to the community."

Colleen Shipman in 2007. Orange County Circuit Judge Marc Lubet said his lenient sentence was in consideration of the fact that Nowak did not have a criminal record and had an exemplary service as...

Lubet said. Lubet granted a defense motion to throw out comments she made during the six-hour interview and items seized during a search of her BMW, including maps to alleged victim Colleen...

Ex-astronaut Wants Ankle Bracelet Off By TRAVIS REED, Associated Press Writer ORLANDO, Fla. - Interviewing former astronaut Lisa Nowak was "like a chess game," a detective testified Friday as Nowak's attorney urged a judge to throw out evidence and a police interview in which she talked about the alleged attack on a romantic rival. Nowak also took the stand and asked the court to let her remove her electronic monitoring bracelet, complaining that it cuts her ankle and gets in the way of her military boot lace. ORLANDO, FLA. — Former astronaut Lisa Nowak wants a judge to let her remove the ankle bracelet that allows authorities to track her location as she awaits trial for allegedly attacking a romantic rival, saying it is "an unnecessary and excessive expense." Nowak is paying $105 a week — $2,940 so far — for the monitoring device as a condition of her release, according to a court filing her attorney says was made Thursday. The clerk at the Circuit Court in Orange County could not find the filing, but said it could be in the pipeline. Nowak also argues that...

ORLANDO, Fla. — Impatient. Defensive. Emotional. Incoherent. Astronaut Lisa Nowak is all of these things in a four-hour video, released today, of her stay in a holding cell immediately after her arrest at the airport here in February. As officers come in and out of her cell to give her something to drink or take her to the restroom, Nowak seems frustrated and bewildered by repeated questions implying her intentions toward her romantic rival Colleen Shipman, an officer at Patrick Air Force Base near Cape Canaveral, Fla., were more than just to talk. After her arrest on charges of attempted...
