There are plenty of good web browsers to use, and Firefox and its Waterfox spinoff, most of the time, are good. But I noticed something the other day about both of them. I was trying to log onto this Conservative shopping site called “Patriot Depot”, and when I would put the web address in, it would automatically re-direct to Google. This was true for both of them. I tried this with my other browsers, and the site came on just fine with them. Perhaps some lefty programmer at Firefox put a re-direct as a practical joke. If true, given that...

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey (R) reportedly signed a bill into law Thursday that would ensure President Biden will appear on the state’s November ballot. The Associated Press reported that a spokeswoman said the bill had been signed. The Hill has reached out to Ivey’s office for comment. The bill’s singing follows the unanimous approval last week from the Alabama State Senate, after a state elections official warned that Biden may miss the deadline to qualify. Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen (R) sent a letter to the state Democratic Party chair in April noting that the deadline for certifying candidates...

Berlin has confirmed a leaked conversation between top military officers about the specifics of British soldiers assisting Ukraine in using advanced missiles took place. A conversation that allegedly took place on March 1st involving a group of senior German officers including the head of Luftwaffe (Air Force) Generalleutnant Ingo Gerhartz [above, left] that took place on an open, unsecured line was intercepted by Russia and published over the weekend. Discussing options Germany had for deploying an advanced cruise missile against Russia in support of Ukraine with plausible deniability, one officer reflected in apparently prophetic words: “Just imagine the uproar if...

I don't think Tucker Carlson got what he bargained for in this interview. The interview ran about two hours but most of that was made up of Putin's rambling answers that sometimes went on for 10-20 minutes. To his credit, Carlson started at the most obvious starting point for a discussion with Putin, which is the reasons behind the invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Instead of a clear answer he got a 30 minute lecture about the history of the region going back to the 8th century. (snip) Carlson interrupted several times saying he wasn't sure why all of this...

Donald Trump has claimed Manhattan's DA has dropped a criminal probe into a hush money payment to a porn star, a week after claiming he'd be arrested within days. The former president told a small group of reporters aboard his private jet Saturday night that prosecutors would have had no choice but to give up in the face of recent evidence. With an open necked shirt and bottle of Diet Coke by his side, Trump cut a relaxed figure as he traveled back from the first rally of his campaign in Waco, Texas - and grew angry at any suggestion...

Donald Trump emailed voters on Monday asking them to sign a petition protesting his possible arrest. His team says they're compiling "millions and millions" of signatures decrying the "threats." He also asked for donations to his campaign, with suggested amounts ranging from $24 to $3,300.

On Thursday, posts on social media showed video footage of Bank of America customers standing in line at the Bank, frantic to get information about their bank accounts that had been reduced by large sums of money- with no explanation of what was happening to them. The footage prompted fears that the United States is entering a time of financial crisis. One Independent Media source said Americans need to get ready for a ‘bail in’ and offered a laundry list of things Americans need to be thinking about as we enter some very tumultuous times.“Bail-ins are where they just take some money...

Donald Trump's tax returns will be made public at midday after a nearly four-year-long fight that saw the former president fight tooth-and-nail to shield his financial statements from public view. The Democrat-controlled House Ways and Means Committee voted last Tuesday evening to release the returns, in a debate that lasted more than three hours behind closed doors. The final vote was 24 to 16. All Democrats voted in favor of the action while all Republicans on the panel voted against.... ...Six years' worth of Trump's most recent tax returns will be covered, as well as documents from eight of his...

Is America prepared for a new COVID-19 variant and the wave of infections it’s causing? Will vaccines hold up against it? More to the point, it’s already upon us … and doesn’t appear to be creating any new issues. That’s not to say that everyone’s sanguine about it. The teachers-union leader that fought to keep schools closed for the better part of two years declared that “Covid isn’t over” (via Twitchy):The arrival of subvariant BA.5 should be a reminder that Covid isn’t over. https://t.co/2AZQjqLpDG— Randi Weingarten ☮️🇺🇦 (@rweingarten) July 8, 2022The Washington Post editorial board declared that the arrival of the...

The Washington Post, in the person of sobbing wokestress Taylor Lorenz, ran a story the other day about the “Libs of TikTok” account. I said some half-hearted things in defense of it initially. After a second look, I take them all back. If the Columbia Journalism School offered a class called “Dogshit Exposés,” this would be on the prospectus. It may not be first-week material, but it’s in the course. As a general rule, anyone volunteering to enter the public discourse who has influence is fair game for journalists. We have strictures against outing assault victims, jurors, some varieties of...

A ‘bombshell’ Hunter Biden text that was first discussed on air prior to the 2020 election has been verified. And it has explosive implications regarding the current President of the United States, Joe Biden, and the Biden family. It regards a text conversation between Hunter Biden and his daughter Naomi, who is the president’s granddaughter. A copy of that text from December 26, 2018 has been provided to Becker News. Here it is below:“I love all of you,” the Hunter Biden text reads. “But I don’t receive any respect and thats fine I guess — works for you apparently. I Hope...

The right-wing firebrand laughed off comments made during an interview with One American Network (OAN) complaining House Speaker Pelosi was secretly investigating members of Congress and constituents. “Not only do we have the D.C. jail, which is the D.C. gulag,” said Rep. Greene in a now-viral video. “Now we have Nancy Pelosi’s gazpacho police spying on members of Congress, spying on the legislative work that we do, spying on our staff and spying on American citizens that want to come to talk with their representatives.” After being roundly mocked for confusing the Gestapo, the official secret police of Nazi Germany...
