When I was a child someone gave me a beautifully illustrated book of children's stories from around the world. My younger sister's favorite was "The Celestial Maiden" and she begged me to read it to her over and over again. In the tale a poor Japanese woman prays for a child. One day she finds a tiny maiden lying on a leaf in her garden. She takes the maiden into her home and cares for her, happy that her prayers have been granted. The baby was supposed to be born in Oct, but came early. He is a healthy boy. Probally the last neice or nephew to be born in my family ( we are all getting old) I'm so excited!!!

Hi All! Got some great news!!!Physicist has a new addition to the family! :-) Sophie Rhiannon Sterner was born this morning at 9:58 AM, pink and screaming. She was 7 lbs 2 oz, 20 inches long.

On 12/8 at 7:51 AM Phantom Lord & Mrs. Phantom Lord welcomed into the world their first child, a son.Reagan Wolfgang Terwilliger He weighed in at 7 lbs 1 oz and was 20 1/4 inches long. Mother and baby are doing perfect. Mother far better than I would have expected. Me, I have my gas mask and Hazmat suit all ready for diaper duty. Here are some quick pics... Is it possible for me to change my Freeper name. Last Thursday the old name became obsolite. God has blessed me with my 5th child (4th girl) and I would like to change my name without loosing my "time-in-service". Thanks for any help. DOF

Good morning all, My son Aric Kincaid was born this morning at 6:19 AM, he weighs in at 9 lbs even, and is 21 1/2" long. As many of you know, we were expecting our second child this month. I am here to announce that he has arrived! Little Steven was born last Thursday, September 5th, at 12:07 p.m., after about 7.5 hours of labor (thanks to the doctor for that epidural). He weighed 6 lbs, 12.8 oz., and measured 19.75 inches at birth(no, he wasn't a preemie, just a good thing in a small package). Compare that to his big sister, who weighed 8 lbs., 7 oz. and was over 22 inches at birth, and you will see why I am surprised! Even the 0-3...
