As many of you know, we were expecting our second child this month. I am here to announce that he has arrived! Little Steven was born last Thursday, September 5th, at 12:07 p.m., after about 7.5 hours of labor (thanks to the doctor for that epidural). He weighed 6 lbs, 12.8 oz., and measured 19.75 inches at birth(no, he wasn't a preemie, just a good thing in a small package). Compare that to his big sister, who weighed 8 lbs., 7 oz. and was over 22 inches at birth, and you will see why I am surprised! Even the 0-3 month clothes are big on this little guy!

Both baby and Mommy are doing well and we came home on the 7th. We are all exhausted around here, but we couldn't be prouder or feel more blessed than we do to have two beautiful children. I had many complications with my first pregnancy, so we are relieved that things went perfectly this time.

I hope everyone has been well during my absence and I am busy praying for all intentions that I have been pinged to. I just wanted to share our joyous news with all of you. God bless you all.

Jim, what say we start a tradition of giving new parents a child's account and screenname with the baby's birthdate? You could even make the account "inactive" (no posting privileges) until an appropriate age (say, 12 or 15).
