He was the King of Poop. Neverland’s manicured lawns and fairy-tale facade masked a house of horrors and madness, five of Michael Jackson’s maids revealed to The Post. “Michael sometimes ran around where the animals were, and he’d track . . . poop throughout the house and think nothing of it,” Maid No. 1 recalled. “Then, if you said something, he’d threaten to make doo-doo snowballs and throw it at you.” When Oprah Winfrey visited the Los Olivos, Calif., ranch for an interview in 1993, it was pristine. Floors were waxed, walls scrubbed and windows power-washed. It was after she, guest Elizabeth Taylor...

As home to pop legend Michael Jackson, Neverland Ranch housed a working locomotive, a Ferris wheel and other amusement park rides, a 10,000-volume library and a zoo. But could the opulent Santa Barbara County estate become home to California's newest state park? A resolution is in the works to order state parks officials to study converting the roughly 2,600-acre property into a state park. The state NAACP is backing the idea, and a lawmaker has signaled he is on board to carry the legislation. "I think Michael's history is world history and I think it would become the No. 1...

(UPI) -- Pop star Michael Jackson is under attack from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals for alleged animal cruelty at his California Neverland Ranch. PETA has asked the U.S. Department of Agriculture to investigation conditions on the Santa Barbara, Calif., estate where it claims Jackson's pets have been living in squalor since he moved Bahrain in June, MSNBC's "The Scoop" reported Tuesday. "Photos make it clear that the animals are being held in what can only be described as cruel conditions," PETA spokeswoman Lisa Wathne told Britain's Mirror. "They're abysmal, little more than holding cells. Jackson must close...

Michael Jackson has been accused, at various times in his career, of molesting children, breaking contracts and stealing songs. Rarely, if ever, has he been accused of doing all three at once. Now a recent lawsuit hits the trifecta, alleging the pop star sexually abused a boy in the 1980s and 1990s, lifted lyrics and melodies from the child, who was as young as 2 at the time of the reputed plagiarism, and reneged on a deal to pay for the songs. Perhaps making the lawsuit at least a quadfecta, Jackson, 47, is also accused of burning, beating, and torturing...

SANTA MARIA, Calif. (AP) - Lawyers for Michael Jackson urged a judge to deny a prosecution request to present evidence of alleged past sexual offenses during the pop singer's upcoming child molestation trial. "This is the same 'evidence' that left two separate grand juries so unimpressed with the prosecution's 'case' that they did not return indictments," Jackson's lawyer, Robert Sanger, said in court documents released Friday. Superior Court Judge Rodney Melville will hear arguments on the issue Wednesday. In a motion released last month, prosecutors argued the evidence should be admitted under a 1995 California law that lets relevant previous...
