Well, that could have gone a lot worse. In the wake of Hillary’s massive, unequivocal, humiliating rejection, I was going to write this column on the critical need for us conservatives to have a big group hug and restore the shattered bonds that should unite us, whether #NeverTrump, #NeverHillary or #IHateEveryone. But that can wait. Right now, I have some savoring to do. Let’s see, we have the executive branch, the legislative branch and we’ll be taking back the judicial branch. The mainstream media is in a state of shock. Liberals are having fits. And the ocean is still rising,...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: Can I make a point? If you're going to... Let's say in this election... I want to talk to those of you, and I know you're out there, that are not crazy about either of these two people. You're not crazy about Hillary because of the obvious reasons. She brings three decades of baggage, dishonesty, scandal and no end in sight to any of that. You question her qualifications and her achievements, and you realize that she's being rammed down our throats by the Democrat Party strictly for ambition. The only reason Hillary wants to be president...

RUSH: I mentioned yesterday that, if you didn't know, you should know that they're in panic. In the deep, dark crevices of power, the Democrat Party, they're in abject panic. This is not where they were supposed to be. Trump was not supposed to be a factor. The election was supposed to be over months ago. But certainly this week it was not supposed to be in question. Hillary should have been... They're already planning inaugural balls and all the other trappings that go with victory. This is not where they wanted to be, and with the possibility Trump could...

Given two terrible choices, a depressing number of voters have responded in the worst way. Yes, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are terrible presidential candidates, but not all of the blame for this thoroughly depressing election year can be placed at their feet. The primaries gave the general electorate two bad, disliked, dishonest, vindictive options . . . and in far too many cases, the general electorate responded appallingly, making a crummy situation worse.

Tens of thousands of Democrats hate Hillary Clinton like she hates ordinary Americans. They don’t believe she’ll provide the changes America needs. They believe she is a liar. Many of them are breaking with the Democratic Party to support Trump.

Students all over Penn State University agree on this much about Hillary Clinton: "She’s slimy," said Anay Pope. And Pope, 25, is a Clinton supporter. For the moment. Clinton’s poll numbers are sagging, and the biggest reason is that she’s plunging among young voters. A Quinnipiac University poll this month found that in a four-way race, Clinton is up 5 points nationally with 18- to 34-year-old voters, down from a 24-point lead just a month before. Just days ahead of the first debate Monday and less than two months before voting ends, she faces two challenges: Many young voters are...

Mark Levin made the big announcement Tuesday night on his radio show after methodically walking listeners through his rationale. (snip) It wasn’t all bad for Trump, however, as Levin later spoke positively about his tax plan, his positions on immigration, law enforcement, and foreign policy. Levin did offer a common and recurring disclaimer: Trump is NOT reliable. But then … the announcement. Listen here: (audio at link) Before getting to Trump, Levin had plenty to say about Hillary Clinton. In short – she is far too dangerously liberal to allow anywhere near the Oval Office.

Marine Le Pen has voiced her support for Donald Trump, warning that his rival Hillary Clinton would bring war and devastation to the world. Asked by CNN which U.S. candidate she supports, the Front National leader remarked that “everything but Hillary” would be better for France.“As far as France’s best interest is concerned it’s, "Everything but Hillary Clinton".

Holy cow, this is EPIC. Lets see if the national media reports on this story. The Florida DNC sent a rally invitation to the father of the Orlando Pulse Nightclub Terrorist, Omar Mateen. You might remember all of those pictures of Seddique Mateen in Washington DC meeting with State Department officials and Democrat members of congress. Well apparently Omar’s father, Seddique Mateen, a full-throated DNC supporter, accepted the invitation and was caught on camera sitting directly behind Hillary Clinton and cheering for her during the event in Kissimmee.

If a recent gathering in a Merced park is any sign, playing “Pokémon Go” and lamenting over the presidential candidate options for the November election are part of the life of a millennial. And that matters because millennials, which the Pew Research Center defines as people born between 1981 and 1998, hold a particularly powerful deck of cards this election. Many of them say they are exasperated with their options for president in 2016. Aaron Lequia of Merced, who plays the mobile game in local parks, said he’s struggling with how to cast his vote in November. Ever since he...

"Rules for Radicals" by Saul Alinsky is dedicated to Lucifer - Here is the dedication quote: "Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins — or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom." — Lucifer.

In session now, being shown live. Right now they're debating whether or not to have a registered Parliamentarian at all meetings. Since I'm unaware of who is who, I can't tell if this is being pushed by the Anti/Never Trumpers or the pro-Trump delegates. Well, while i was typing the above, they chaired that motion and have moved on. Someone from Fox this morning said to watch Mike Lee and his wife to try and figure out what the NeverTrumpers are doing.

That was a “major national-security address”? Hillary Clinton’s folks billed her San Diego speech Thursday as a big deal. And it certainly was a prime opportunity to lay out her views on foreign policy and America’s role in the world. But what she delivered was a 45-minute rant against Donald Trump — with nary a clue about her plans for leading America on the international stage. Worse, her string of dump-on-Trump quips might’ve worked better if she had substituted her name for his, starting with her attack on Trump’s “series of rants” — a perfect description of her own speech....

Donald Trump’s best ally in winning over skeptical Republicans is turning out to be Hillary Clinton. Having overcome a multimillion-dollar “Never Trump” campaign aimed at blocking him from the Republican nomination, he’s now benefiting from a wave of GOP donors, party leaders, voters and conservative groups that are uniting under a new banner: “Never Hillary.” “Nothing unites Republicans better than a Clinton,” says Scott Reed, a political strategist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce who has advised previous GOP campaigns. While Reed says there remain “many unknowns” about Trump, he adds that “the knowns about Hillary are very powerful motivators...

Previously there were possible real-world scenarios which justified the continuing anti-Trump position: 1. A dark horse white knight makes an 11th hour entry and runs third party. This is now virtually impossible, and soon will be entirely impossible. By the way, the application to get on the ballot in Texas has already passed -- so, um, good luck with this one. 2. Trump would prove so toxic in the polls that it would cause the party to do whatever was necessary to install a new candidate, even at the expense of blowing up the party to do it. I thought...
