While Donald Trump has been consolidating his base of support, the opposite appears to be happening for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, who seems to be hemorrhaging supporters from her progressive base.

Nate Silver has given Florida to Trump. Hillary’s campaigning in mostly blue states also where Trump is for the most part.

Brexit is the answer.
The polls seem to directly contradict what people are seeing. That is a significant difference this year. The polls are cooked and crooked.
And many people see this with their own eyes.
Certainly get the feeling you are correct. All polls have the inherent bias of how they are structured. The pollsters try to design them to get just the right percentage of Democrats, Republicans, Independents Blacks, Hispanics, etc. Just how they do that or replicate the sample each time the poll is taken is how they tend to go wrong.Also the pollsters are businessmen. They spread a bit of pixie dust to satisfy the not so subtle bias of those that employ them. The most reliable polls are the internal polls of the Democrats and Republicans. Judging from the frantic activity and advertising is states that should be secure for Clinton, it would seem that the traditional Democratic coalition has some gaps. Most obvious problem is that she is not attracting 95 % of the black vote.

Yep. I agree. We’re seeing a stream of Bernie and Stein supporters coming in, all saying things like “I’ve had it” and “how can I help” and “that’s it, I’m here to DrainTheSwamp.” We’ve also had a number of teenagers, too young to vote, but all volunteering to help with social media, memes, whatever they can do. It’s absolutely inspiring. :-)
