Brewing company Anheuser-Busch, whose headquarters is located in St. Louis, Missouri, has pulled its support from St. Louis’ PrideFest after 30 years. Nonprofit Pride St. Louis announced the company’s move on Tuesday, with organization President Marty Zuniga saying that Anheuser-Busch had been a key supporter of the event for 30 years, per STLPR. "For them to walk away from the table in negotiations, simply to note that, ‘we just don’t see the value in it anymore,’ it’s like a bad breakup," Zuniga said. He noted that other large corporate sponsors are "coming in at historic lows" in terms of funding,...

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) called for the government to reveal what it’s spending taxpayer money on relating to Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) amid growing calls from lawmakers for increased transparency on the issue. “They’re spending tens of millions of dollars on this subject. And then they turn around tell us they don’t exist,” the Tennessee Republican told NewsNation’s Blake Burman on “The Hill” Friday. Burchett stressed the need for greater government transparency on extraterrestrial life while discussing the recent hiring of former intelligence officer and UFO whistleblower David Grusch by Rep. Burlison (R-Mo.). “I think he can help us ask...

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey issued a cease-and-desist order last week to Planned Parenthood formally prohibiting the abortion giant from performing chemical abortions in the state. The order advises the company to implement a “valid” health and safety plan to protect women and treat complications from abortion-inducing drugs, as required by state law. AG Bailey cited Planned Parenthood’s “uncontroverted track record” of disregarding Missouri health and safety laws as the reason for the temporary restraining order, which makes it a felony for the organization to dispense the high-risk drugs. In November 2024, Missouri made abortion a constitutional “right” in the...

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has issued an order stopping Planned Parenthood abortion facilities from dispensing dangerous abortion drugs. The action comes one week after Bailey’s office warned Planned Parenthood of the pending cease and desist order after the abortion business failed to have an approved complication plan to protect women. A recent New York Times piece exposed how Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion business, also endangers women and girls with shoddy “care,” including botched abortions, an IUD inserted in a pregnant woman who ended up suffering a stillbirth, sewage leaking into a recovery room and more. Sue Liebel,...

Missouri’s attorney general wants to know what former President Joe Biden didn’t know and for how long he didn’t know it. In a post on X, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey said he wants the Department of Justice to open up a can of worms by investigating whether Biden’s deluge of executive orders and pardons that marked the final weeks of his presidency came at a time when Biden had no idea what he was signing. “I am demanding the DOJ [investigate] whether President Biden’s cognitive decline allowed unelected staff to push through radical policy without his knowing approval,” Baily...

A federal judge on Friday ruled in favor of Missouri in the state’s $24 billion lawsuit against China’s Communist Party that accused it of hoarding protective supplies during the coronavirus pandemic. This is a landmark victory for Missouri and the United States in the fight to hold China accountable for unleashing COVID-19 on the world," Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey said in a statement. "China refused to show up to court, but that doesn’t mean they get away with causing untold suffering and economic devastation. We intend to collect every penny by seizing Chinese-owned assets, including Missouri farmland." Bailey's office...

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - A federal judge in Cape Girardeau rules in favor of Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey’s federal lawsuit against China related to the COVID pandemic. Bailey calls the $24 billion judgement against the Chinese Communist Party “historic.” The state sued China nearly five years ago, the one remaining count in the suit accused China of hoarding masks and other PPE. Judge Stephen Limbaugh ruled Missouri suffered direct harm from lost tax revenue and heightened expenditures caused by the hoarding. Bailey says the judgment is six times more than the previous largest judgment in state history.

The Biden presidency might have been the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the American people. A shocking investigation by the Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project has revealed that virtually every document bearing Joe Biden's signature during his presidency was signed by an autopen — except for one. What makes this revelation particularly damning is that the only document confirmed to have Biden's actual signature was his letter announcing his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race. Let that sink in for a moment. Remember when House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) revealed his discussion with Biden when Biden couldn't recall signing the...

Nakara Alston was leaving her boyfriend when she learned she was eight weeks pregnant. In desperation, she got an abortion at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Albany, N.Y., and moved with her two daughters into a homeless shelter. But something was clearly wrong. Several weeks after the procedure, she was still bleeding heavily and suffering from painful cramps. She took another home pregnancy test, and when it came back positive, the clinic staff assured her that they had seen the aborted fetus and there was nothing to worry about. It was only after she went to an emergency room that...

Abortion supporters claim a Missouri Republican’s plan to create a registry referring pregnant mothers to adoption resources invades their privacy — even if it’s voluntary. Republican Missouri State Rep. Phil Amato’s “Save MO Babies Act” would create a state database that pregnant women may sign up for in order to match with potential adoptive parents who pass screening processes. Democrats and activists who argued that pro-life laws exacerbate “cycles of poverty” among other ills claim it’s “disturbing” and “extreme” to allow such a program. “It is the policy of this state and its agencies to implement a system to reduce...

The U.S. 8th Circuit Court of Appeals put a final end to former President Joe Biden's student loan forgiveness plan on Tuesday. Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey originally sued the Biden administration over its $500 million effort to wipe away student loans, known as the SAVE plan. The court's Tuesday ruling found that Biden's secretary of education had "gone well beyond this authority by designing a plan where loans are largely forgiven rather than repaid." Bailey noted in a statement that the ruling has no active impact beyond blocking future presidents from attempting Biden's maneuver. "Though Joe Biden is out...

In a horrible ruling late Friday night, a Missouri judge has ruled that abortion centers can reopen in Missouri and resume killing babies in abortions. A Jackson County judge struck down licensing requirements for clinics that have stood in the way of abortion businesses reopening after the state barely approved Amendment 3, the ballot measure allowing abortions and reversing the state’s law protecting babies. Judge Jerri Zhang struck down modest abortion limits that protect women’s health, including pre-abortion exams, waiting periods, hospital admitting privileges for abortionist so women can receive emergency medical care after a botched abortion. In a statement...

CV NEWS FEED // A Republican Missouri state representative this week testified about legislation she filed that would reinstate protecting unborn children from abortion, with the exception of medical emergencies, fetal anomalies, and pregnancies resulting from rape and incest. According to the state’s website, Missouri constitutional Amendment 3 made abortion legal up until doctors consider the preborn baby “viable,” meaning able to survive outside the womb without medical help. Usually, viability is around 22-24 weeks. CatholicVote previously reported that in September 2024, the Missouri Supreme Court ruled to include pro-abortion state constitution Amendment 3, which forbids the government from making...

The FBI has approved changes to the Quality Assurance Standards (QAS) for Forensic Laboratories to allow DNA evidence profiles generated by Rapid DNA analysis to be searched against the national DNA database (CODIS). On January 27, the QAS documents were posted on the website of the Scientific Working Group on DNA Analysis Methods (SWGDAM), announcing that the new standards will have an effective date of July 1, 2025. At least seven states (Arizona, Connecticut, Kentucky, Missouri, New Jersey, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania) have already taken proactive steps to support criminal investigations by creating non-CODIS statewide programs to allow crime scene evidence...

After years of Russiagate conspiracy theories about how the Russians had somehow rigged the 2016 presidential election using Facebook ads, the Senate Intelligence report awkwardly revealed that the Russian operation had focused most of its attention on black nationalists. The Senate report revealed that "most of the videos" put out by the Russian IRA troll factory on YouTube "pertained to police brutality and the activist efforts of the Black Lives Matter organization" and found that "no single group of Americans was targeted... more than African-Americans" around "race and related issues". But that was an understatement. The Russians had created their...

NORTH WILDWOOD — Bugs Bunny used to joke about taking a wrong turn in Albuquerque. This turn could be just as bad. A man needing assistance with his vehicle flagged down police on Spruce Avenue Friday morning and told police he got lost while driving from Missouri to FBI headquarters in Washington. Michael Brisby, 36, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, told police that the "voices in his head" were telling him where to go. As the officer spoke to Brisby who said he had a firearm and "experience" with building explosives. Officers called in other law enforcement agencies, including the Sheriff's...

Clayton McGeeney, 37; Ricky Johnson, 38; and David Harrington, 36, visited their longtime friend Jordan Willis’ home in Kansas City, Missouri, on Jan. 7, 2024 to watch the Chiefs play the Los Angeles Chargers. Two days later, the three men were found dead on Willis’ property by McGeeney’s fiancée. Willis could not be reached by phone and did not answer his door in...
