Gardner told auditors that she was pursuing a family nurse practitioner post-master’s certificate "to improve the office and bring mental health awareness" to the office....

For the record, Trey Gowdy interviewed Bailey before Gardner stepped down in May 2023. Gabe Gore, a respected St. Louis attorney, was appointed by Governor Parson to fill the remainder of Gardner’s term and was elected as District Attorney in November, 2024. He has been working hard to rebuild the St. Louis District Attorney’s office.
