John “Zip” Connolly is apparently one of those hoodlums who cares what his obituary says about him after he’s dead and gone. At age 82, the infamous ex-FBI agent seems obsessed with clearing at least one indelible stain off his remarkably squalid (even by Boston G-man standards) underworld career. He’d prefer not to have “Mob hitman” in the first sentence of his death notice. There’s not much he can do about the racketeering conviction, or all his tawdry connections to the Bulger Crime Family. But “Mob hitman” is a bit much. Sadly, Zip has failed yet again to remove “assassin”...

"I remember asking myself questions. I'm trying to be a better man, I'm trying to be a good man. And I remember asking myself the question, what is a good man, and I was dwelling on it for weeks. I pride myself on being a good man. But really what is that? I'm sitting in my prayer time, my quiet time, God started speaking to me, telling me a good man is a dead man. And at first I heard that and I was like, I don't really know what that means. I want to live. But then he revealed...

We’ve seen this before, just on a smaller scale. Special Counsel Robert Mueller is following the infamous playbook of Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald, who managed to convict an innocent man while the guilty one walked free — and Fitzgerald knew it. They both went after and indicted people who either did not commit any crimes or were indicted for things unrelated to the purposes for which they were appointed. Both were in hotly political environments with supportive media. Both were open-ended investigations. And, it seems, both were hungry for convictions for the sake of convictions — not truth or justice....

The Irish post office, An Post, is to release a stamp immortalizing Che Guevara 50 years after his death at the hands of the Bolivian Army. Long ago, Irish artist Jim Fitzpartrick created the iconic image of Guevara with his trademark cap, shaggy hair and piercing gaze transposed onto a red background. Now for the first time, it has been placed on a stamp. The word ‘Éire’, the Irish word for ‘Ireland’, declares the stamp’s origins for all who care to Google it, and it costs one euro to buy. […] Earlier this year, the Irish government issued an apology...

AP: Administration Freed Terror Suspect By JOHN SOLOMON, Associated Press Writer WASHINGTON - Nabil al-Marabh was No. 27 on the FBI (news - web sites)'s list of terror suspects after Sept. 11. He trained in Afghanistan (news - web sites)'s militant camps, sent money to a roommate convicted in a foiled plot to bomb a hotel and boasted to an informant about plans to blow up a fuel truck inside a New York tunnel, FBI documents allege. The Bush administration set him free — to Syria — even though prosecutors had sought to bring criminal cases against him and judges...

A father allegedly killed his baby daughter with a cinder block just hours after she was born - because he and the little girl's mother couldn't afford to have another child. Christopher Fitzpatrick, 20, allegedly told his girlfriend, Jennifer Barrise, 'I just want to get rid of it' as she started having contractions while they were out shopping near their home in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania. Both have now been charged with criminal homicide after police found their daughter's tiny body buried in woodland near Fitzpatrick's workplace. Barrise, 28, already has five little boys, all aged under nine. The youngest, Christopher...

Two Republican members of Congress have come under scrutiny after skipping the House of Representatives’ swearing in ceremony Wednesday to meet with political donors at the Capitol Visitors Center. The gaffe is gaining critical traction among liberals who point out that the U.S. Constitution requires members to be sworn in before casting votes. Sessions and Fitzpatrick watch the swear-in on television in the Capitol Visitors Center (Image: Bucks County Courier Times) On Thursday, Rep. Pete Sessions made a motion to open debate on the GOP‘s plan to repeal the Obama administration’s 2010 health care overhaul — an action that can...

Lt. Commander Walter Fitzpatrick III (US Navy Ret.) has been arrested by the Monroe County Sheriffs Department. http://www.thepostemail.com/2010/10/27/monroe-county-gestapo-beat-and-taser-retired-naval-commander/Readers are probably aware that Mr. Fitzpatrick ("Commander Fitz") has been in a longstanding "feud" with the Monroe County judicial (and law enforcement) system. The disagreement first broke over Commander Fitz's attempt to bring Barack Obama to trial as being Constitutionally ineligible to be POTUS, but soon spread into a battle with the Monroe legal system -- specifically the Grand Jury system. http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/22276According to an AP report, Mr. Fitzpatrick was arrested (Wednesday, Oct. 27) because he missed a court appointment scheduled for last...

Residents cry foul over ballots By: PETER HALL Bucks County Courier Times A petition was filed with the Board of Elections over absentee ballots. A trio of Bucks County residents backed by the county Republican committee say they have evidence linking Democratic Congressman Patrick Murphy's campaign to a scheme to flood the county voter registration office with fraudulent applications for absentee ballots. In a petition filed Tuesday, county Republicans say the name of Murphy's campaign manager appeared on a Bristol post office box where voters were urged in a series of letters paid for by the state Democratic Committee to...

Pennsylvania Rep. Patrick Murphy is confronting worrisome new poll numbers in his rematch against former GOP Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick. A new Franklin & Marshall survey out Thursday morning shows Murphy trailing Fitzpatrick by a steep 49 percent to 35 percent margin among likely voters — perilous territory for the two-term Democrat, who occupies a Bucks County-based 8th District seat. The poll of 379 likely voters was conducted Sept. 14-19.

"Monroe County TN Corruption Turns ViolentBy JB Williams What started out over a year ago as what seemed to be a simple citizen effort to report government wrong-doing in a Treason case against Barack Obama, filed by Retired Navy Lt. Commander Walter Fitzpatrick III, turned into something unexpected when the Monroe County justice system obstructed justice and turned its evil sights on the Commander. Since then, Fitzpatrick has been arrested and jailed twice, humiliated by local character assassination, threatened, roughed up and accused of inciting riot, which in Tennessee code can apparently be used against anyone when three or more...

As reported first by local news media here and here - "Four law-enforcement agencies are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in the trunk of a burning vehicle and who appears to have been Monroe County Election Commission chairman Jim Miller." Firefighters from the Christanburg Fire Department discovered the body inside the trunk." "Besides the sheriff's office, the TBI, the state Bomb and Arson Department and the 10th District...

"Lt. Col. Lakin, and Commander Fitz“Let’s pretend for a moment that we’re not all being treated like mentally challenged six-year-olds, and that it’s out on the table that the current POTUS has been blatantly hiding his past from the American electorate. Let’s also pretend that neither the media, nor our judicial system, find it laughably funny when “we the people” insist on knowing the REAL history of the person running America’s economy, military, and domestic/foreign policies. “Let’s pretend as well, that America is still a republic, ruled by law as filtered through the U.S. Constitution. “If we pretend all those...

Oath Keepers Profiled A "felony" stop for a "rolling" stop. "It started off well enough, er, sort of.., As I passed the OathKeepers truck and moved in front to get off at the HWY 68 exit (I-75 exit #60 in TN) I waved but he didn't see me so we both exited and came up to the stop sign for our right hand turn into Sweetwater/Madisonville. I came to a slow rolling stop and proceeded on but when I looked into my rear view mirror I already saw blue lights and Darren's truck had just reached a stop. As he...
