Mark Forton, ousted Monday night as the Macomb County Republican Party chairman, vows vowed to go after opponents aggressively. "I don't have to protect any RINO Republicans," he tells The Detroit News. GOP delegates voted 158-123 to unseat Forton because of a "lack of confidence." He tells The News he plans to launch a recall campaign against Republican Macomb County Clerk Anthony Forlini if he doesn't allow Mellissa Carone on the ballot as a state House candidate.
