The man said he met with Paddock outside a Las Vegas sporting goods store after posting an online ad to sell schematics to convert semi-automatic guns to fire automatically. Steven Schuck, MGM building engineer recently caught in a nearly deadly hallway ambush on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Casino Hotel is in the news again. Schuck's casino bosses have admonished him not to come into work. For now, they tell him, he has unlimited Paid Time Off. The Mandalay Bay security guard shot by Stephen Paddock in the moments leading up to the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history was set to break his silence Thursday night with five television interviews, including one on Fox News, Campos' union president said. Except when the cameras were about to roll, and media gathered in the building to talk to him, Campos reportedly bolted, and, as of early Friday morning, it wasn't immediately clear where he was.

Campos was shot about six minutes before the suspect opened fire on the crowd at the Harvest Festival. After Campos was shot, he didn't call the police, he instead radioed down to the hotel for help. Assistant Sheriff Fasulo said that's standard protocol in the hotel industry.

Regarding the Las Vegas shooting, I would like to point out that in none of the videos which capture glimpses of the 32nd floor at Mandalay Bay during the shooting do I see ANY muzzle flashes whatsoever. I am by far no firearms expect. Not by a long shot (no pun intended). But I DO know that high-powered rifles including AR-15's, etc., would create a highly-noticeable muzzle flash or burst of 'flame' at night measuring at least a foot in diameter, at least.
