A witness statement that is part of a batch of newly released police documents concerning the Las Vegas shooting reveals that in the days before the Las Vegas shooting, Stephen Paddock and a woman were picked up by an Uber driver who said Paddock commented on the Mandalay Bay Area for a terrorist attack as he was being dropped off at the Mandalay Bay.
The witness statement is one of many previously unspoken statements that were released nearly one week ago after a judge ordered them to be released.

I got a request to pick up Paddock at Terminal #1 pick-up area for Uber, not sure what day or time. I picked up a man and a woman with a big blue suitcase, old looking, and heavy, and he commented on the Mandalay Bay area for a terrorist attack and [was] dropped at the Mandalay Bay, the Uber driver stated in her report filed with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Maybe check Uber records. --Witness Uber driver who had contact with Stephen Paddock
The name of the Uber driver is redacted on the report, but the driver is described as a 5'10 200-pound woman with red hair and blue eyes. The witness statement was documented on October 4, 2017 by an LVMPD officer, which begs the question as to why the public is only now finding out 8 months after the Las Vegas shooting that Paddock mentioned a terrorist attack taking place at Mandalay Bay, prior to the attack. Interestingly, the witness originally wrote "they" in her statement, but then crossed out the word "they" and changed it to "he". However, in the witness statement, it is made very clear that another woman was also in the car with Paddock and the Uber driver. It is unclear whether the woman in the Uber with Paddock was his girlfriend Marilou Danley, but other recently released Vegas shooting documents revealed that three women were in Paddock's room when police entered his 32nd floor suite the night of the shooting Oct 1, 2017.
On October 1, 2017, police say Stephen Paddock, 64, opened fire from his 32nd floor suite at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, killing 58 people and injuring over 800 more. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and the FBI have still not provided a motive for the shooting, remaining adamant that Paddock was a lone shooter and that the Las Vegas Shooting was not an act of terrorism. It is concerning that investigators would immediately say that the Las Vegas shooting is not an act of terrorism, because according to the witness statement, Paddock himself used the phrase "terrorist attack" when speaking to the Uber driver about Mandalay Bay.
Immediately following the Las Vegas shooting, ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack, saying that Paddock was an ISIS soldier who converted to Islam six months prior to the attack. However, without completing an investigation and less than 48 hours after the shooting, Aaron Rouse, the Special Agent in Charge of the FBI in Las Vegas told the American public and the media in a press conference on October 2, 2017, one day after the shooting, We have determined, to this point, no connection to an international terrorist group.
Adding more concern to questions surrounding the competence level and honesty of Las Vegas shooting investigators, including Sheriff Lombardo and Agent Rouse, the witness statement was documented on October 4, 2017. However, according to a statement made by Dr. Larry Barton, an FBI Academy Threat Management Instructor, during an interview with NBC News on October 2, 2017, I just got this 10 minutes ago, and youll be the first people to know this. The good people of Uber just called me to tell me that they picked up this perpetrator and his girlfriend on September 9th, and September 20th, and guess where they took them? To the Mandalay Bay. This fell out of fortune, so I suggested to Uber, you need to call the FBI and give them that information.
After Bartons interview, word of Paddock being picked up in an Uber and dropped off at Mandalay Bay was quickly brushed aside and was not mentioned by investigators or the media thereafter.
Although the witness who was interviewed on October 4 by LVMPD officers said that Paddock mentioned a terrorist attack at the Mandalay Bay, Sheriff Lombardo and Aaron Rouse never mentioned this possible pre-meditated terror attack admission to the public during any of the press conferences in the days and weeks following the Las Vegas shooting. However, they told the public just one day after the shooting, and two days before the witness statement was obtained, that the Las Vegas shooting was *not* an act of terrorism.
A source within the Las Vegas FBI told this reporter that if the FBI was serious about the woman's statement, standard protocol would have required them to polygraph the Uber driver to see if she was telling the truth. The source added, "For a major investigation with a witness having specific information, it is standard operating procedure to ask her to take a polygraph. Never in my over 20 years in law enforcement have I seen investigators rule out terrorism within the first 24 hours of a major attack taking place. If true, this witness statement is very damning for the FBI."
It doesnt take a seasoned investigator to realize, based on the date of the witness statement, that FBI investigators and LVMPD jumped the gun on their statement immediately following the Las Vegas shooting when they asserted that it was not an act of terrorism. Both Agent Rouse and Sheriff Lombardo need to immediately answer to the American people and the media as to why they failed to mention this shocking witness statement that suggests a pre-meditated terrorist motive for the Las Vegas shooting, as described by the witness Uber driver whose identity investigators have chosen to hide from the public and media.
Also worth noting, prior to the Las Vegas shooting, ISIS warned that Vegas would be attacked. After the FBI declared that ISIS was not responsible following ISIS's initial claim just hours after the shooting, ISIS continued to claim responsibility for the attack nearly three more times, even promising to attack the Las Vegas strip again in the near future.
LVMPD and the FBI both declined to comment on this shocking witness statement. This week, Sheriff Lombardo issued a "comment ban" within the LVMPD to ensure that no LVMPD employees speak to anybody, particularly the media about the contents of the newly released Las Vegas shooting police documents. Lombardo is running for re-election as Sheriff in Clark County. The Primary is June 12, 2018.
It seems a less unstable now.
Many think there is a lot more to this than what was in the news.
Can’t we just ask John McCain or John Kerry if it was their ISIS buddies that did this??
Sedona's finest crystal gazer.....
I haven’t heard from the gunman’s crazy brother since early March. I guess no one else wants to interview him standing outside on his front lawn, pointing fingers and weaving yarns.
Once FBI takes over a case, no more truthful information will be forthcoming. Ever. A narrative will be implied and if there is any further statement it will be to defame those who question those who question the not quite stated narrative.
That appears to be very true.
In the past, I don’t know what the situation really was.
I have not heard anything from his brother since right after the murders.
Neither will admit anything.
For God's sake, an act such as the Mandalay Bay Massacre—at least to my mind—is terrorism by definition...
Of course it is.
I had understood that three women were registered to his room, not that they were actually in the room when they entered after the shooting...
This stinks to high heaven. We are definitely not being told the truth. As I understand it McCabe took over as the senior from the FBI on this case. McCabe apparently has not been truthful with the public for a long, long time.
This could be a wording mistake and that none of the 3 women were actually in the room.
On the other hand, It could correct.
WOW!

Trey Gowdy in AZ? Is there rumors of him moving to AZ to be appointed to former Senator McCains seat? Or is this a joke.
So many questions. This reeks like a 3 day old homicide scene.
Bad joke. /j
Yes, if he is still alive. Have not heard about him for a while.
Yes. Something big is being covered up.
