Meet Heather Shaner. She is a DC Public Defender who has represented 43 J6 defendants who couldn’t afford real representation. Shaner says it’s her job to “educate” J6ers, stating, “I mean, if you start out with a whole bunch of baloney and you don't know it's baloney, you're going to keep exercising your choices based on incorrect information”.
