Democratic billionaire donor Tom Steyer said House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is wrong for saying his push to impeach President Trump is helping Republicans. Steyer pushed back against Pelosi’s claim during an interview with BuzzFeed News that aired Sunday night, calling Trump “reckless and dangerous and lawless.” “This is a historic time,” Steyer said. “If you step back for one second and think about this president, the most corrupt president in American history, somebody who is breaking the law on a daily basis.” Pelosi warned Democrats earlier this year against pursuing impeachment efforts against Trump, saying it could hurt...

Washington -- Sen. Dianne Feinstein's office acknowledged today that a former staff member had removed references to the California Democrat's net worth on the Internet encyclopedia Wikipedia, as well as altered entries about her husband Richard Blum's Chinese investments in 1997. A former staff member "independently went on to Wikipedia to correct some material he felt was not appropriate," said Feinstein spokesman Howard Gantman. "The senator was not even aware of it." The changes to the biographies of members of Congress, allegedly by their staffs, have again raised questions about the credibility of the online encyclopedia that has become an...

Matt Damon praised Australia’s gun laws while promoting his latest gun-toting Jason Bourne film in that country. “You guys did it here in one fell swoop, and I wish that could happen in my country, but it’s such a personal issue for people that we cannot talk about it sensibly,” the diminutive star said while pandering his way through the former British prison colony. (VIDEO-AT-LINK) “Obviously, mass shootings aren’t going to do it. There have been so many of them at this point. Sandy Hook — when those children were murdered — if that didn’t do it, you know, I...

Hollywood actor Matt Damon used a press conference in Australia over the Fourth of July weekend to discuss his desire for a massive confiscation of U.S. guns. “You guys did it here in one fell swoop [in 1996] and I wish that could happen in my country, but it’s such a personal issue for people that we cannot talk about it sensibly,” Mr. Damon said during a promotional engagement in Sydney for the movie “Jason Bourne.” The action star went on to say people get too “emotional” when it comes to “not selling AK47s to people on terror watchlists.” Mr....

Gun-toting action star Matt Damon of The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum, and The Departed, says he wishes the U.S. would implement a gun ban similar to the one Australia implemented in the 1990s. Appearing in Sydney, Australia, for his latest gun-toting action film, Jason Bourne, Damon praised Australia’s gun ban and said he wishes the U.S. would follow the Aussies’ lead. According to Stuff, Damon said, “You guys did it here in one fell swoop and I wish that could happen in my country, but it’s such a personal issue for people that we cannot talk...

Matt Damon returned to MIT, but this time he wasn't mopping the floors. The 45-year-old actor delivered his first-ever commencement address for MIT's class of 2016 Friday, and wasted no time in slamming GOP frontrunner Donald Trump. To do that Damon got pretty trippy, citing what he says is a real scientific theory that we all might just be living in a simulated reality created by more intelligent forms of life in the universe. His question: "How come we have to be in the reality that Donald Trump becomes the Republican nominee for president -- can we transfer to a...

But talking to THR, he gushed, “We talked about it, and look, even when I was giving him shit, he's somebody who thinks so deeply about everything he does.” The movie star added, “I don't ever question that it's coming from the right place with him. He's a remarkable human being and shockingly easy to be around. He's incredibly approachable and doesn't beat you up with his station, though he could.” Damon is also a fan of Hillary Clinton:

In Capital (volume 3), Karl Marx observed: “In London . . . they can do nothing better with the excrement produced by 4 1/2 million people than pollute the Thames with it, at monstrous expense”. That would not have happened if Matt Damon had been around. Marx was railing against the loss of nutrients from the soil caused by contemporary (and modern) sewage systems. In Ridley Scott’s new 3D blockbuster, The Martian, Damon is inadvertently left behind on Mars by his NASA crew mates and is obliged to survive until help comes. As is so often the way, inspiration strikes...

Matt Damon opened his mouth and let the truth about the left's superficial commitment to "diversity" slip out. Now, liberal ideologues are furiously whacking the relentless GOP-bashing actor for his "white privilege." There's even a Twitter hashtag -- "#damonsplaining" -- that erupted this week to mock his unforgivable political transgression. Here's what happened. Damon (along with his progressive pal Ben Affleck) co-produces the television series "Project Greenlight," which gives wannabe filmmakers the opportunity to compete for a shot at directing their first feature film. The current season's prize script features a man who weds a black prostitute after being abandoned...

Set in a world where corporations have seemingly unlimited power, the story will focus on one man's efforts to beat the system. Although it is still known for campy projects like "Sharknado," the deal is another example of how SyFy has been upping its game in scripted content. The cabler recently ordered the alien series "Hunters" from "The Walking Dead's" Gale Anne Hurd and it is developing "Ghost Brigades," which is based on the "Old Man's War" universe book series, with Wolfgang Petersen and Scott Stuber.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the actor created the property by combining two parcels he bought in 2005, paying about $14.5 million for both. The home is located on the same glitzy street where Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, and Calvin Klein are said to have lived.

Matt Damon: 'I'd Eat My Shoe If Jeb Could Name a Bush That Ever Even Walked Into a Public School' By Noel Sheppard Created 11/16/2013 - 2:48pm As NewsBusters reported, former Florida governor Jeb Bush pounded public school activist Matt Damon in August for putting his kids in private school. Damon gave CNN's Jake Tapper a rather lame excuse for this in an online segment of their interview Friday while claiming, "I'd eat my shoe if he could name a Bush that ever even walked into a public school" (video follows with transcript and commentary): JAKE TAPPER, HOST: Does that...

Showtime announced last year that it had commissioned Oscar-winning filmmaker James Cameron to produce an eight-part series for the network designed to scare the public into thinking the world is doomed as a result of global warming. Coincidentally on Halloween, the cable network released a trailer for the April 2014 series entitled Years of Living Dangerously and credits that identify key Hollywood contributors such as Jessica Alba, Matt Damon, Harrison Ford, and Arnold Schwarzenegger (video follows with commentary):

Damon praises Snowden for NSA leaks By Rebecca Shabad - 08/26/13 11:46 AM ET Actor Matt Damon is praising National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden's decision to expose classified domestic surveillance programs as "a great thing" for the country. “I think it’s a great thing he did," Damon, who has portrayed CIA agents in the "Bourne" movie trilogy and "The Good Shepherd," said in an interview posted on YouTube on Aug. 22. The Hollywood actor said he hadn’t read everything that Snowden has leaked, but called him a “conscientious guy.” “If we're going to trade our civil liberties for our...

Oscar-winning actor Matt Damon says his love affair with President Barack Obama is finally over. "He broke up with me," the once ardent supporter and campaigner for Obama told the Black Entertainment Network (BET) in a recent interview. The A-list movie star and Democrat said there were "a lot of things" he questions about Obama's second term, specifically the legality of drone strikes and the NSA's secret surveillance programs.

As is the usual case, there were a number of unworthy contestants for our Jerk of the Week honors. From Obama and his demonstrated weakness to Congress getting Obamacare waivers to property management companies trying to banish the Second Amendment (which has failed), there were quite a few who could have been chose. However, our choice this week truly represents the utter hypocrisy of the progressive liberal. Therefore our Jerk of the Week is Matt Damon. Matt Damon has long been a progressive liberal moonbat, believing that America is a terrible place. He loves the work of noted anti-American author...

Matt Damon: Obama 'broke up with me' By Cameron Joseph - 08/09/13 09:50 AM ET Actor and former Obama fan Matt Damon isn't happy with the president. "He broke up with me," Damon tells BET. "There are a lot of things that I really question, the legality of the drone strikes, and these NSA revelations. Jimmy Carter came out and said 'we don't live in a democracy,' that's a little intense when an ex-president says that, so he's got some explaining to do, particularly for a constitutional law professor." Damon was a big supporter of Obama during his 2008 campaign,...
