Set in a world where corporations have seemingly unlimited power, the story will focus on one man's efforts to beat the system.
Although it is still known for campy projects like "Sharknado," the deal is another example of how SyFy has been upping its game in scripted content. The cabler recently ordered the alien series "Hunters" from "The Walking Dead's" Gale Anne Hurd and it is developing "Ghost Brigades," which is based on the "Old Man's War" universe book series, with Wolfgang Petersen and Scott Stuber.

Another reason not to watch SyFy channel.

Set in a world where corporations have seemingly unlimited power ... The only solution to that scenario could only be -- more fascism!!!

The world waits in great anticipation for the moral insights that Damon and Affleck are about to reveal with their artistic performances.
Actually Lenin was anticipating these two clowns when he remarked that there are those that would sell the communists the rope that they will use to hang them. Damon and Affleck are beyond being useful idiots.

The only thing that could make it better would be to add Gwyneth Paltrow to the cast.
BTW...I watched Contagion the other night. I’d seen it before. But, I wanted to watch the part again where the autopsy docs open the dead Gwyneth Paltrow’s skull with a bone saw, and one doc says something along the lines of...”Oh my god.”.
