Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke via phone on Tuesday with US President Donald Trump, the American leader said, declaring that the pair “are on the same side of every issue.” The call covered “numerous subjects including Trade, Iran, etc.,” Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social, adding that the conversation went “very well.” Notably, Trump did not include Gaza or the 59 hostages being held there in his list of topics discussed amid the ongoing impasse in ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas. However, according to a report in Axios, the pair did talk about efforts to reach...

When war once again came to Gaza in late 2023, Palestinian photographer Fatma Hassona began documenting all aspects of life: death, displacement, destruction, children celebrating during Eid, relief as people were allowed to return to northern Gaza during a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas this year. Despite the challenges she faced, the 25-year-old was planning for the future: She was engaged to be married this summer and received news last Tuesday that a documentary about her life in Gaza during the war had been accepted to Acid Cannes, which runs alongside the Cannes Film Festival in France. A day later,...

Watch Yosef Haddad, an Israeli Christian Arab educate an entire Muslim Crowd at Oxford Union. Very fiery delivery over intense heckling, of a defense of Israel by a combat veteran of IDF. Transcript linked to video. Too long to detail in a summary, but well worth the listening.

50 years ago today, on April 13 1975, Palestinian terrorists opened fire on a church in Beirut, killing 4 Christians. It was the start of the Lebanese Civil War It would destroy the Christian-majority country that had been one the best and safest countries in the Middle East ... A tragic reminder of how quickly violence can destroy a once-peaceful nation. Lebanon was truly a jewel of the Middle East before extremism tore it apart. We must learn from history to prevent these devastating sectarian conflicts from repeating. ... Same plan for America. ... Islam destroys everything it touches. ......

Cenk Uygur @cenkuygur If @nytimes is right and Trump refused Israel's request to attack Iran, he deserves a ton of credit for that. Times reporting @TulsiGabbard made the argument against the strike - huge credit for that. @JDVance also spoke against. Not a lot of good news lately, but this is great. 4:24 PM · Apr 17, 2025

The Israeli government is exposing a malicious Deep State plot by the domestic security forces to bring down the Netanyahu government, similar to the US Deep State campaign against Donald Trump 2016-2024. At the center of the plot is the head of the Shin Bet security service Ronen Bar, who refuses to leave his post after being fired by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.Observers had been mystified by the massive security failures of the vaunted Israeli secret service on October 7, leading to antisemitic conspiracy theories claiming Israel actually was responsible for the horrific terror attacks taht killed over 1200 people....

Former Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz sparked backlash Monday after she admitted a social media post that implied former President Joe Biden was dead “got her hopes up.”. The left-leaning firebrand has made her disdain for Biden clear, attacking his pro-Israel stance on the war in Gaza. A social media user seemingly shared her view, posting a black-and-white photo of Biden over the weekend and writing: “RIP Joe Biden 1942-2025…You were always a racist -–king monster, and will not be missed.” Lorenz shared the post on Sunday with a frowny face, adding: “This tweet got my hopes up.” Some social...

Washington Post columnist Karen Attiah said Monday that she has no regrets about retweeting a post supporting Hamas's October 7, 2023, terrorist attack on Israel and blamed racism for the backlash to her pro-Hamas sympathies."I make no apologies for standing on the side of Palestinian liberation, at all," Attiah said after a woman confronted her over the pro-Hamas post at a book signing, according to footage recorded by Algemeiner's Corey Walker. The post, which Attiah retweeted soon after it was posted on the day of Hamas's massacre, read, "What did y'all think decolonization meant? vibes? papers? essays? losers."Attiah said at the...

Iran is beating a retreat from Yemen, where it has backed the Houthi rebels, who in turn have launched missiles and drones against Israel, and have also attacked international shipping in the Red Sea, as well as western naval vessels. The reason: U.S. President Donald Trump has launched a relentless assault on the Houthis while also restoring a “maximum pressure” campaign of sanctions that makes it impossible for Iran to sustain its overseas terror proxies. The UK Telegraph reported on Thursday: Iran has ordered military personnel to leave Yemen, abandoning its Houthi allies as the US escalates an air strike...

Astonishing news out of Israel today and confirmed by at least one Israeli TV network that Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Gen. Esmail Qaani, commander of the crack Quds Force, is in Jerusalem after being identified as an Israeli intelligence asset. There's no doubt that Qaani was under suspicion. On Sept. 27, 2024, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, one of the most well-guarded people in the world, was killed when at least 80 bombs were dropped on a bunker in Beirut, where Nasrallah was meeting with top aides. Qaani was placed under house arrest and interrogated, according to Middle East sources. Qaani...

Reports this week indicated that US President Donald Trump may visit Saudi Arabia in the coming months. This is important because it would be his first trip abroad as president. It will also be a repeat of a trip he took during his first term. During his first term, in May 2017, he travelled to Saudi Arabia for the US-Arab-Islamic Summit. He met with Saudi King Salman and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi during that trip, among other leaders who attended During the May 2017 trip, Trump said, “I stand before you as a representative of the American People, to...

– “The brave nations and the proud youth” of the region are labeled as “proxy” forces by western officials, “whereas the Israeli regime is the only proxy force in the region, which works on behalf of colonialist forces to violate the territories and sovereignties of countries.” – “The Zionist regime, as a proxy of the colonizers, incites fire, commits genocide, and perpetrates crimes, and if it gets the chance, it violates [the territories of] other countries, just as it is violating Syria’s today.” – “If others defend their rights or their land, they are labeled ‘terrorists;’ yet, [it is] the...

The Hamas terror group murdered one of the leaders of the anti-Hamas protests that took place in Gaza last week. Over the weekend, Hamas terrorists abducted Odai Naser Saadi, 22, tortured him for four hours and executed him. They then dumped his body at the doorstep of his family’s home with a message: “This is the price for those who criticize Hamas.”

President Barack Obama’s first act as a Nobel Peace Prize winner in 2009 — nine months after he took the oath of office — was to try to wriggle out of accepting it. “The morning the prize was announced, his staff investigated whether anyone had failed to travel to Oslo to receive their prize,” writes Nobel insider Geir Lundestad in “The World’s Most Prestigious Prize” (Oxford), out this month. Apparently, the president was among the 61 percent of Americans who believed he didn’t deserve it. “It is true, Obama did not do much before winning,” Lundestad, 74, a member of...

Lebanese authorities announced on Sunday that several suspects have been arrested in connection with the recent rocket fire targeting Israel, AFP reported. Lebanon’s General Security agency confirmed in a statement that it had “arrested a number of suspects, and the relevant authorities have begun investigations with them to determine responsibility and take the appropriate legal measures.” The Iran-backed Hezbollah terror organization has denied any role in the rocket attacks launched on March 22 and 28. Nevertheless, the IDF retaliated for the rocket fire on Friday by striking targets in the Dahieh suburb of Beirut, Hezbollah's stronghold in the Lebanese capital....

The ceasefire in the Gaza Strip is perilously close to collapsing as both Israel and Hamas have both balked at entering negotiations over terms of an intended second phase of the deal. Meanwhile, food shortages in the territory have become acute and Palestinians living there are again struggling to feed their families. Mustafa Abu Shaaban, a blacksmith before the war, and his wife Rasha, try to create a semblance of normality for their kids. "Our life is hard – we just want to live like everyone else," Rasha told CBS News. But as the aid freeze starts to bite in...

One good way to tell if your effort to eliminate your enemy's leadership is going well is if you blow up their new defacto prime minister before his people have had a chance to learn that the old prime minister had been blown up, too. True story. The Wall Street Journal reported Monday that Hamas PM Ismail Barhoum was killed in an Israeli Air Force (IAF) airstrike just five days after his predecessor (pre-deceasor?) Issam al-Da’alis was — you guessed it! — killed in an IAF airstrike. With an almost coy dryness, the Journal headline read, "Israel Is Killing Hamas...

The foiled attack came as the European Union foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas paid a visit to Israel and the occupied Bank on Monday, where she met with both Israeli and Palestinian officials. The Israeli military on Monday said it intercepted a long-range missile launched from Yemen over Jerusalem, triggering air raid sirens and explosions over the city. Local officials said they believed the missile to be from Houthi rebels in Yemen, where a handful of long-range missiles have been fired from in recent days following the resumption of war in Gaza by Israeli forces. There was no immediate claim...

An Israel Defense Forces carried out an airstrike on a Gaza hospital on Sunday night, killing the new "Hamas Prime Minister". The militant group has confirmed his death. IDF claimed that Hamas has been exploiting civilian infrastructure like hospitals to hide terrorists. The Gaza health ministry run by Hamas said the strike was targeted at the surgery department of the hospital. Who was Ismail Barhoum? Identified as Ismail Barhoum, the top Hamas official had replaced Issam Da’alis as the "prime minister" of the militant group in Gaza. Barhoum, who was injured in an earlier airstrike, was being treated at the...

Steven Witkoff, the Trump administration’s official envoy who had past business ties to Qatar, sat down with Tucker Carlson, the former FOX News talking head turned Qatari apologist who had recently featured Qatar’s leader, to talk about how wonderful Qatar is... Qatar is not a mediator. It’s a state sponsor of Hamas and other Islamic terrorist groups. By collaborating with Qatar, Witkoff is by definition collaborating with Hamas.
