GARDEN RIDGE, Texas, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- The body of Leanne Hecht Bearden was found in Garden Ridge, Texas, almost a month after she vanished, authorities said. She was last seen on Jan. 17 when she left her in-laws' house in Garden Ridge for a walk, CNN reported. A passerby found the body at 12:15 p.m. Thursday in a wooded area near his home, city police chief Donna O'Conner said. SAN ANTONIO — After two weeks of fruitless searching for Leanne Hecht Bearden, her family says evidence suggests “a strong possibility” that she disappeared on her own Jan. 17 from the Garden Ridge home of her in-laws.
