Last month Republicans won a wave election picking up a dozen seats in the House and nine seats in the Senate. Last week the Republicans ignored the will of the voters and voted in favor of President Obama’s budget initiatives. An Amendment to the Twentieth Amendment is needed ASAP to limit the powers of the Lame Duck Congress and Presidency during a lame duck session. President Obama will be returning to Washington this afternoon after fleeing the country with Republicans sitting pretty with historic gains on election day, and with the Democratic Party in turmoil. Obama might regret returning to America after his overseas trip resulted in failure. With the people demanding low taxes via voting booths and opinion polls, the President's Fiscal Responsibility Commission came out against tax hikes in any income bracket.
