Getting drivers more quickly from Interstate 95 to the Sawgrass Expressway will involve putting them on express lanes that dip below local roads for one mile, according to plans that were unveiled Tuesday. An estimated 45,000 vehicles now travel daily along the 2 1/2-mile stretch of Southwest 10th Street between the Sawgrass Expressway and I-95 in Deerfield Beach — which is more than it was designed for.
