Holland Township, MI — An illegal immigrant who struck and killed a motorcyclist in a July crash in Holland Township pleaded guilty to negligent homicide Monday, Dec. 29, in Ottawa County Circuit Court. Rodrigo Delacruz-Encarnacion, 25, could face a maximum two-year sentence for the charge. He will be sentenced Jan. 26. NEW YORK (AP) - Two improvised explosives were thrown into the rear of the Mexican Consulate early Friday, causing small explosions that blew out some windows, authorities said. No injuries were reported. Police believe someone on a bicycle threw the devices—made from replica grenades packed with explosive powder—at 3 a.m., New York Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said.
