The calls for a boycott come after Kellogg’s CEO Gary Pilnick said that families worried about inflation should eat “cereal for dinner,” and even suggested that such woes are a good marketing opportunity for Kellogg’s, telling CNBC that...

Whenever 30-year Dunedin resident John Tornga takes visitors on a tour of his quaint, coastal town, he makes sure to pass the home at 129 Buena Vista Drive S. “It’s the only place anyone calls a ‘mansion’ in Dunedin,” said Tornga, a city commissioner. “There’s a mystique to it. Who else can say they have a Kellogg mansion in their city?” The 7,600-square-foot, Mediterranean revival-ish home was built in 1925, and was then known as Villa Marino. W.K. Kellogg, founder of the Kellogg Company that revolutionized breakfast via ready-to-eat cereal, purchased it in 1934. The interior is a wild mashup...

The Aunt Jemima brand of syrup and pancake mix will get a new name and image, Quaker Oats announced Wednesday, saying the company recognizes that "Aunt Jemima's origins are based on a racial stereotype." The 130-year-old brand features a Black woman named Aunt Jemima, who was originally dressed as a minstrel character. The picture has changed over time, and in recent years Quaker removed the “mammy” kerchief from the character to blunt growing criticism that the brand perpetuated a racist stereotype that dated to the days of slavery. But Quaker, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, said removing the image and name...

As the United States wakes up to the myriad of ways its culture reinforces racist and offensive stereotypes, Americans are also waking up, quite literally, to an offensive breakfast. After a TikTok video by singer Kirby, titled "How Not to Make a Racist Breakfast,” started spreading virally on the Internet, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanhian tweeted “how is Aunt Jemima not canceled?” The viral video, which explores the offensive origins of Aunt Jemima pancakes, is trending on Twitter with two million views. It begs the question:

Coco Pops has been a much-loved breakfast staple for decades, with one of the most recognizable mascots in TV advertising. But Coco the Monkey has come under suspicion from disgraced former Labour MP Fiona Onasanya, who has written to Kellogg’s asking why they chose that animal to represent the chocolate-flavored cereal when Rice Krispies uses “three white boys”. Ms. Onasanya, who was jailed for three months in January 2019 after she was convicted of lying to police about a speeding ticket, says that there is little difference between Coco Pops and sister brand Rice Krispies beyond their color and flavor....

John Carney, Breitbart News economics and finance editor, joined SiriusXM host Alex Marlow on Friday’s Breitbart News Daily to discuss the fallout from Kellogg’s attack on Breitbart News. Marlow saw it as an unfortunate but necessary victory that Kellogg’s has been obliged to shut down 39 distribution centers, with the potential loss of up to 1,100 jobs, as a result of its decision to engage in partisan politics. “It’s terrible when a company’s management decides to make political decisions that hurt its business,” Carney said. “It’s pretty clear that that’s what has happened here.” “You’re not celebrating the loss of...

Charles says each site outfits roughly 30...
