Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis was saved from public scrutiny at the last minute after a Board of Ethics meeting was canceled the morning of the scheduled event. Thursday's special meeting was initially scheduled to hear two complaints brought against Willis. The ethics board was expected to discuss two complaints brought by two Fulton County residents, Gregory Mantell and Steven Kramer, at 10 a.m. The meeting was open to the public at the Fulton County Government Center.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' fight to remain on the prosecution in former President Donald Trump's Georgia election interference case is over. After the end of closing arguments, Judge Scott McAfee, who is presiding over the case, said he would make a decision on disqualifying her within the next two weeks. Trump's attorneys told the judge they had multiple new witness testimonies that had just come to light that morning, but McAfee refused to admit them because the defense hadn't had a chance to examine the evidence. McAfee signaled to Trump's attorneys that he may not need any more...

With an eye on the 2024 election, young conservative influencers are trying to get a handle on how to reach out to their increasingly alienated generation and pull them back to the Republican Party. Speaking with Newsweek's Katherine Fung, conservative commentator and OutKick podcaster Tomi Lahren, who built her reputation as a staunch defender of Donald Trump, said she is worried about 2024 -- particularly following reports that Joe Biden's digital strategy team is working hand in hand with liberal influencers to reach out to more young voters. "If we want to win [the 2024 election], we're going to have...

House Democrats are planning a "short and solemn" ceremony on the Hill to commemorate the anniversary of the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot, but one West Virginia Republican says it should be a "day to celebrate." To do so, Derrick Evans, a former West Virginia state delegate who served three months in prison for his role in the Capitol attack, announced his official candidacy for Congress on Friday.... ...Evans is running to challenge incumbent Representative Carol Miller, who won reelection in November, in the 2024 Republican primaries for West Virginia's 1st District. "Quite frankly, [Miller] does not represent the America...
  • A Massive Republican Gathering is Latest Warning Sign for Trump

The nation's largest annual conference for Millennial and Gen-Z conservatives, AmericaFest, drew tens of thousands of attendees who seem divided on who should win the 2024 nomination—a troubling sign for the former president. As Trump acolytes, like his eldest son Donald Trump Jr. and unsuccessful gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, sang praises for Trump's 2024 campaign, many event speakers avoided endorsing the former president and interviews with attendees revealed that many aren't prepared to commit to another Trump term just yet. The four-day event in Phoenix, Arizona, is a glaring red flag for Trump's campaign. It signals there may not be...

Aformer Russian commander said that the reason Moscow has seen a series of military failures in Ukraine is because Russian President Vladimir Putin has been misled by lies that have impaired his decision-making on the battlefield. "I don't think our Supreme [would] have made [inappropriate] decisions if he was retrieving accurate information about the real circumstances. The system of total lies brought us to this situation," Andrey Gurulyov, former deputy commander of Russia's southern military district, told television presenter and propagandist Vladimir Solovyov on Russian state media. The latest setbacks Putin has suffered due to a successful counteroffensive from Ukrainian...

"Soldiers of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine ambushed the enemy in a forest massif in Donetsk region." The video shows Ukrainian soldiers running through the forest during a counteroffensive in a separatist region of Ukraine that has been a key battleground for both sides since Russia's invasion on February 24. Over the weekend, nearly 370 civilians were evacuated from the area, according to the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. "After the ambush, the operators of the SSO of Ukraine began to perform other tasks without losses," the General Staff of the...

President Trump said hydroxychloroquine "would be the hottest thing" had he not endorsed the anti-malaria drug as a treatment for COVID-19. "If I would have said, 'I don't believe in it. It doesn't work,' it would be the hottest thing going right now," he said Tuesday morning. In an interview on sports radio show Outkick, Trump told host Clay Travis that the drug "causes no problem," citing his own use of hydroxychloroquine as a preventive measure against the virus in May. "As soon as I came out with it, they said 'Oh, it doesn't work.' They went crazy," Trump added,...
