Dr. Jill Rowland is running against far left socialist Louise Slaughter in New York. Last night a man with a knife came into the hotel lobby and threatened Dr. Rowland during a question and answer round table.

Because she thinks her re-election is in the bag! Louise represents District 28 which has part of Buffalo and Rochester in a very gerrymandered district. Rochester and Buffalo New York are rarely mentioned in the same sentence. Both cities are heavily democratic and are joined together as part of the 28th Congressional District of New York, currently held by Louise Slaughter. This is a perfect district to gauge "voter anger" According to the Main Stream Media TEA Party Groups are extremists. Anti Incumbent leanings are few and far between and are nothing to worry about. Oh crap, I’m not on Facebook either! (I have an ex-husband and ex-boyfriends. LOL) Here’s what you do: Go over to General Chat or the GOP Smoky Room thing or whatever. Make a vanity plea for a Facebook user to hit up Mark Levin’s Facebook site with a “shout out” for Dr. Rowland. I didn’t even know she had an opponent, that witch Slaughter. Maybe the voters there don’t know they have a choice! Put together a nice post, complete with links, and I promise the FReeper community will come to the rescue!

The Republican challenger is pragmatic about her long-shot candidacy. Rowland has been operating her campaign on a shoestring, spending only $376 through Sept. 2. As of that date she had raised less than $5,000 and had contributed only $250 of her own money. Even so, Rowland said she’s hoping to raise $100,000 for the race. Her campaign strategy involves personal exposure, attending public events, knocking on doors and doing interviews on radio and with other media.
