Jerry has local talk show on KMBZ 980. Yesterday he talked at length about a story regarding those who facilitate illegal immigration via Day Labor sites: "Watchdog Puts Herndon Planning Commission on Legal Notice Over Citizens' Objections to Proposed "Day Laborer" Site" http://www.judicialwatch.org/5391.shtml 85% of the workers at this day labor site are ILLEGAL!! He started to wonder aloud about how high the percentage is here, and talked about doing some investigative reporting on local day labor sites..... He came on the air mad as hell, he recieved call from ***police officer*** "lobbying" him to STOP TALKING ABOUT IT!!

What does it take for an award-receiving talk show host to empty a room full of radio industry leaders and supporters? Air America host and alleged comedian Al Franken managed to do just that over the weekend, with a long and rambling speech that had both liberals and conservatives, bolting from the facility.

FYI: Conservative KC Metro Talk Radio DJ Jerry Agar has announced his invitation by the US Military to travel to Iraq. Jerry's goal is to have a briefcase full of at least 500 phone cards for the troops so he can hand them out as he meets 'em. It was a bittersweet pleasure to go on-air Friday for two hours with my friend Jerry Agar, WPTF afternoon drivetime, from Raleigh to most of North Carolina and parts of states north and south of there. This was our last sit-down, since Jerry is moving to KMBZ in Kansas City, a larger market that wants a quick, intelligent voice from the conservative side of the spectrum.
