The White House briefing room erupted into chaos Wednesday as press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told a reporter she was being “incredibly rude” when asking about the president’s mental state. President Joe Biden appeared to call out for Republican Indiana Rep. Jackie Walorski on Wednesday while speaking at a White House conference on hunger, nutrition and health. Walorski was tragically killed in a car crash in early August. “And I want to thank all of you here, including bipartisan elected officials like Representative McGovern, Senator Braun, Senator Booker, Representative – Jackie, you here? Where’s Jackie?” Biden asked as he looked around....

President Biden thought the late Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) was alive Wednesday because she was “top of mind” for him as he prepares to meet her family Friday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claimed to the incredulity of the press corps. The Biden administration’s regular briefing later devolved into chaos as reporters pressed Jean-Pierre to address the 79-year-old president’s mental health. Biden made the gaffe earlier Wednesday at a nutrition event in Washington, saying, “Jackie — are you here? Where’s Jackie?” despite the fact that he publicly mourned Walorski’s death in a car crash last month — and even...

Pro-Life Congresswoman Jackie Walorski was killed Wednesday in a car accident in her northern Indiana District, according to her office, along with two of her staff members. Walorski was first elected to represent Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District in 2012. She previously served three terms in the state’s legislature. She was born in South Bend and lived near Elkhart, Indiana and she and her husband were both Christian missionaries where they established a foundation that provided food and medical supplies to impoverished children. “Jackie’s husband, was just informed by the Elkhart County Sheriff’s office that Jackie was killed in a car...

The 10-member panel on the House Ethics Committee voted Thursday to drop the $5,000 fine issued to Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.), who challenged the report by the Capitol that said she failed to complete a security screening before entering the House building. This is the third time a majority of the evenly split bipartisan panel voted in favor of waiving the metal detector fee since the Jan. 6 protest at the Capitol. In May the Capitol Police issued a report that documented an incident where Foxx set off a metal detector in front of a door to the House chamber....

A handful of “pro-life” lawmakers have sabotaged a vote House Republican leaders planned for today to ban abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy based on scientific evidence showing unborn babies feel pain in abortions. As LifeNews reported yesterday, Rep. Renee Ellmers of North Carolina along with Reps. Charlie Dent of Pennsylvania and Jackie Walorski of Indiana — each of whom have pro-life voting records — objected to a vote on the bill on the grounds that the language in the bill did not do enough to allow women who have been victimized by rape to have abortions. Together, they reportedly...

That's what some defeated House candidates from 2012 are hoping, at least. Several failed candidates who ran strong campaigns, but fell just short last year, are back for a rematch this election cycle. Whether they can use lessons learned in their losing campaign to change next year's results will go a long way in determining which party gains seats in the House.

The NRCC ad highlights Donnelly's support for the "Obama-Pelosi" health care bill, Wall Street bailout and $787 billion economic stimulus package before asking, "Now Joe Donnelly wants us to believe he's independent?" ... Donnelly, a second-term Democrat who skated to reelection last cycle despite occupying a GOP-leaning 2nd District, faces a competitive race against state Rep. Jackie Walorski.

I was at this event yesterday and it was off the hook! Jackie Walorski packed 1200 people in the hall and apparantly they were only expecting 500. This is a congressional seat that was held by a Republican four years ago. Blue DINO (Blue Dog In Name Only) Joe Donnelly, has tried to distance himself from Pelosi and his votes in favor of TARP, Socialized Medicine and any big government project his party needs him for. Walorski is an unapologetic conservative State Rep here in Indiana and her toughness reminds me of Michelle Bachmann. Her best line of the night...
