SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) — Several FBI agents were shot Tuesday morning while serving a warrant in a child exploitation case in South Florida, authorities said. A law enforcement official told The Associated Press that multiple FBI agents were shot while serving the warrant, and that the extent of their injuries was not immediately known. The official could not discuss an ongoing investigation publicly and spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity. Multiple law enforcement agencies swarmed the neighborhood in suburban Fort Lauderdale in the aftermath of the shooting, as a suspect reportedly remained barricaded inside the home.

Former U.N. chief weapons inspector Scott Ritter has been found guilty of unlawful contact with minors and five lesser charges after a three-day trial in Monroe County Court on charges stemming from an online sex sting. MOUNT PLEASANT -- A 33-year-old Mecosta County man, a registered sex offender, faces charges that he tried to solicit sex online. State police from the Mount Pleasant Post arrested Troy W. Dexter in Isabella County, said state Attorney General Mike Cox. (CBS) CHICAGO A Mt. Prospect teacher accused of attempting to meet up with a 13-year-old boy for sex has been arrested for Internet solicitation of a minor. Carmel, Ind. police caught the man, Chad Roby, in a sting operation. Roby has worked at River Trail Middle School for six years, according to Dr. Terry Barker of Mt. Prospect School District. He taught sixth grade English and Drama. Roby has been suspended with pay and the school district is waiting on the outcome of the investigation, Barker said. RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) - A judge on Thursday denied a request by defense attorneys to seal records and prevent the Riverside County district attorney's office from releasing information about the recent arrests of 49 men accused of attempted child molestation. Superior Court Judge Bernard Schwartz denied both motions filed by the county's public defender's office, saying there wasn't enough evidence to justify the request.
