State police from the Mount Pleasant Post arrested Troy W. Dexter in Isabella County, said state Attorney General Mike Cox.
Cox said troopers arrested Dexter, who lives in Rodney, about 6 p.m. Tuesday at Celebration Cinema, where the suspect arranged to meet a person he thought was a 13-year-old girl with whom he had carried on an Internet relationship for several months.

Great news! There needs to be a whole lot more of this kind of prevention. This guy was previously convicted, but there are a whole lot of predators out there who haven't been convicted and efforts that neglect those... simply help create more victims.
Kudos to the Mount Pleasant State Police.

You'd think with all the press and tv shows concerning child predators these animals would figure out that it's dangerous for them to stalk kids online for sex.
Oh well, stupid criminals...what can you say? Glad he's back in a cell.
