The Detroit Lions, Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens did not pay tribute to Charlie Kirk before their NFL games on Sunday following his assassination in Utah this week. The New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys all halted proceedings before their respective kickoffs to remember the life of the 31-year-old MAGA star. Daily Mail has contacted the Lions, Bengals and Ravens to ask why they did not honor Kirk. There are still six NFL games to be played this weekend.

Leo Bretholz has inspired John Carroll seniors for years with his words of wisdom and courage as he recounted the atrocities that he and countless others endured at the hands of the Nazis during the Holocaust. Leo died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, two days after his 93rd birthday. Most recently, Leo and a number of his friends and associates from the Speakers' Bureau of the Baltimore Jewish Council joined us on February 25 for our annual Holocaust Remembrance Day. Included were personal interactions between small groups of hosting seniors and the survivors, a liberator, and several other special...

I decided to have my own little "FReepathon" in memory of my beloved furry family member Kitty. She died on Thursday, December 16, 2010, just after 9:30 am. Some of you probably saw my thread when I self diagnosed her with CRF (I was vetless at the time). Turned out my little 19 year old Kitty had a urinary tract, as well as a kidney infection, which she apparently was too old and too tired to fight. This is my proposal, in which I came up with because of you, my fellow FReepers. I asked for help and info. So...

It is with deep sadness that I have to share the news of the passing of my dear friend and fellow FReeper, Henry Lee II. In late February, he FReepmailed several of us and told us he had been diagnosed with Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura, a blood disease that is rarely fatal. However, complications arose and he went to heavan March 1st. He leaves behind a young wife and two children, a daughter age 6 and a son age 3. We will all remember him for his irreverent sense of humor, his love of posting to threads that...

DUTCH: A Tribute to a Great Illinoisan There are so many Reagan tribute threads on FR after his recent death, that I decided mine better be pretty unique. After all, we've seen the same photos, quotes, and highlights over and over again. This is a special thread dedicated to my fellow Illinois freepers and to all Illinois conservatives. People often think of Reagan as a "Californian" -- simply because he rose to power in Hollywood. But the first -- and ONLY -- President born in the great state of Illinois was Ronald Wilson Reagan. Throughout his life, he lived...
